My lad has screwed up and has to work on Saturday so his season ticket is going spare (young adult). West paddock, uncovered seats Usual rules, first come, first served....only need to pay any upgrade fee if needed. Anyone interested ??
Local fans, please consider this thought. As a lifetime QPR fan, I just wanted to throw my two bobs worth in on this post. You may take for granted that you can go to a game whenever the desire arises. You are right there, you may even drive past the stadium everyday on your way to work or alike, but please consider this ............ I, like many QPR fans live halfway around the world and would 'give anything' to go and see my team play, whether they are playing well or in our current situation. So I say to you good folk who live not too far away, if finances allow it, take the opportunity to see them play, especially whilst there are still in the PL ............ who knows where we could be next season. Appreciate you have the opportunity you have ( not to mention 'Staines' generous offer ) ............... I / we, don't have that luxury. Footnote - Not trying to offend anyone, just wanted to pass on how a far away fan, feels.
Ok chaps, ticket has gone to my other kids non QPR supporting mate, who is quite happy to see a free game of Premiership football. Can't say I'm that suprised no one on here took up the offer of a freebie to support the team we all supposedly love, but a bit shamed by it non the less. I know we all have our reasons, some already going, other plans etc, but f*** me, it proves to me how far we have fallen that know one even made an effort in over 100 views. Anyway, take care all and enjoy what's left of the season.
It's another generous offer from your good self and, opportunity arising, I would have bitten your hand off. You never know, you might be able to sway another young soul to the Rs.
Please consider this thought.......... A lot of us have watched every single home game and it's been a complete and utter nightmare! I'm not at all surprised that no-one took Staines up on his generous offer. (Well done for making it Staines).
Very nice gesture on your part to offer up that extra ticket - here in Canada I'm in same situation as AussieQPR and if in UK would have bitten off your hand for the opportunity to once again see my beloved R's. Just curious, assume a cheaper young adult ticket can be upgraded to an adult one for an old fart like me!
Well done for the offer Staines. Agree with col's sentiments though. I have been to all home games and most of the away and its been pretty pathetic to watch. Almost gave up on the idea of going to Liverpool at the end of the season after Everton. But in my wisdom chose to go!
Fair comment, mate. As I said, I didn't want to come across as a sounding like a wally ................ it's all good.
I'm not going to pretend its all been fun, but I have seen 4 goals wHich will live with me for a very long time - Tarb's against West Ham and the second against Fulham, Townsend's against Sunderland, and best of the lot. Remy's against Wigan. If you can't get pleasure from results, you have to find it elsewhere. And who knows what drama, skills and controversy we may see on Saturday?
