    Greetings folks,

i did mean to post last night, but sunderland to london and back again in a day kind of drains you...anyway..

Today i am proud to be a mackem, our support down at upton park was fantastic, each and every supporter stood up and sang their hearts out for the entire game, including half time. The banter was unreal as was the atmosphere created by our fans. As for the bloke with the "£46 shame on you banner", you sir are a legend.

As for the performance....again, fantastic. I know westham had nothing to play for but they still had there chances. If it wasnt for the MIG they may well have gotten a point at least. Sessegnon......fantastic, Bruce has found yet another gem. Bolo....fantastic, shame we can give him the games he wants. Without a doubt the best ive seen sunderland play in a long time. The only blemish was Henderson, he didnt look as up for it as the rest of them, not making runs, urgent passing etc. The kid Jordan Cook looked good, we may well have another colback, henderson :D And finally Riveros. Looked tidy, took his goal well. IMO deserves a decent crack at it next season.

Well done brucie and the lads. KTF

Nice to end the season on a high. Henderson might just be shattered. Hope he has a bit of a rest now.

Its good that some of the academy guys are winning places - Bruce's Babes? (As long as he realises how licky he is to inherit them)

Dare we dream? Not only of saving a few bob but also having a stable of home-grown stars.

True, but even if they did the returns are good business.

I think that the events of the last games of the season gave us all a much-needed lift.

Disappointed by the home showing since Wigan, we looked good in the first halves of the last 2 home games but pants in the second halves. Dropped a lot of winnable points.

What ever happened during the season we do what we set out to do. I didnt think i would say this but, we are in a much better position than we were last year. This squad is much stronger than last years even without the loan layers

Henderson won't get much of a break as he is in the England squad for the Under 21 European Championships. At least he is not complaining about being tired. I can't believe how players have been left because they are tired. They are supposed to be fit professional sportsmen. It's not like they have to spend all the time down a pit or in a steel mill.
