http://www.thisissouthwales.co.uk/S...tory-18709015-detail/story.html#axzz2QS4Ayx9n Looks like Neil's recovery could be complete. Another run out tonight with no side effects and he's back in contention for the 1st team
The Evening Post stated that the match would take place at Stebonheath. Good job I went to Parc-y-Scarlets where they actually played! Neil played the whole match without problems although he wasn't greatly involved and gave the ball away on a couple of occasions. No problem with Millwall supporters because there didn't seem to be any! Although the Millwall players argued amongst themselves to make up for it. 2 goals from Donnelly and 1 from Bray made it a bit of a stroll in the Parc.
Lydford, how is Donnelly getting on? I'd like Laudrup to give the lad a run out. Do you see him getting near the first team?
Hope to see Donnelly in the squad before the end of the season and given a chance instead of Scheter.
Yea, he seems to be getting a few recently With an inform Donnelly and Moore, with Lukaku/Aspas, wouldn't be bad next season
. . . Bray and Donnelly goals sink Lions at Parc y Scarlets A brace from Rory Donnelly and another from Alex Bray earned Swans Under-21s a 3-0 win over Millwall at Parc y Scarlets tonight (Monday). Bray edged the hosts ahead before Donnelly doubled the advantage, and then sealed the win with his second and the Swans' third and final goal during a comfortable victory for Kristian O'Leary's side. Another massive positive from the night was Neil Taylor playing in his second consecutive 90 minutes since returning from injury. O'Leary's side wrap up their Development League Two South campaign with a home game against Barnet at Stebonheath Park on Wednesday, April 24 (2pm). Swans U21s: David Cornell, Liam Shephard, Scott Tancock, Joseph Jones, Neil Taylor, Lee Lucas, Henry Jones, Kurtis March, Rory Donnelly, Alex Bray (James Loveridge, 80), Kenji Gorre.
Bonymaen - to complete that report it should be added that Dai Cornell went off with what looked like a minor injury in the second half and was replaced by Oliver Davies.
Darnel Situ - He was injured in September, ruptured ankle ligaments I think....won't be fit again until next season. Really feel for the lad, things just haven't worked out for him so far.
Great news for Swansea and Wales. Would like to see him at right-back when Rangel is in need of a rest or injured. Sounds like we have 3/4 players in the under-21's that have a chance of making it too.
Donnelly had a good game - apart from the goals he tracked back well when necessary. But he still looks like a gangly schoolboy. I'm not sure how he would fare against Premier League centre-backs.
