Woke up last Monday with pins and needles in part of my hand. Must have been lying on it. You know, that numbness together with the tingling. Well, a week later and it's still the same. Has not got any worse or better. I also noticed a dull pain before it on the left side of my head next to my eye. Hmmmmmm, if I did not know any better it could be one of these non threatening mild strokes which you can have and not be aware of. Quite common apparently. Best go and see the doc.
have you ever woke up in the middle of the night with cramp in the back of your leg? its ****ing painful. i pray for you all.
If ye pinched the nerve it can take a week for the pain to go away. It gradually gets more painful then recedes. I got it once after falling asleep pished on the couch. Pinched a nerve in my arm. Went to A&E after a few days to have it looked at by a a doctor (actual doctor not one of they GP arseholes). It's referred to as a "Saturday Night Palsy" because the docs most often see at as a result of falling asleep drunk. Canny mind the ectual medical name for it. Either that or ye've had a stroke ya droopy moothed twat.
I wasn't even pished. I had a feeling it may be a mnor, very minor stroke as the left side of my face and head still hurt. No droopy mouth though which is the give away. Might do as you did Fingers and take a stroll up to A & E, somewhere I have been on numerous occasions. Once was there on a Saturday night. Christ it was like Apocalypse Now. I really fell for the doctors and nurses who have to put up with the mainly pissed up ****s that had been fighting.
Yes and that's the classic appearance of having had a stroke. Actually, classic maybe is not quite the right word.
If my hands are cold or have pins and needles i sit on them for a few minutes to get the blood back in them
