If that was the case most articles on GC would be deleted. It seems there is another reason, most likely to do with my religion / place of birth /politcal opinion / stunning good looks. The persecution of Medro Pendes continues.
Back to the OP. I had to leave the 1995 Scottish Cup Final early because one of the pished punters off the supporters bus tried to pet a Clydesdale and got his foot stood on by it. Basically it crushed the daft ****s foot. You can't really blame the horse though, he never asked for a steaming auld fanny to come up and start fondling his face.
Its good, should of knocked the geordie twat out. They control crowds so they are good, what else are they gunna use? water cannons? tear gas?
I can remember when the horses were used quite often in Glasgow in the 70's. They were scary and that Newcastle fan must be thick as fook to have punched it's face as they are frightening close up. Anyone remember when Alex Cameron was jostled out of the picture on Scotsport Also remember watching The Battle of Mount Florida in 1980 where the horses were used extensively.
They are if you're legging it from a load of angry Sheffield Wednesday fans and the police then decide to steam into you on horse back. I suspect South yorkshire were the worst for excessive crowd control in the mid / late 80s because they missed the fun of the miner's strike.
Is it cruel to block off a road with blazing cars then get half a dozen mounted horse pigs to charge , then throw bags of marbles on the road so the horses fall over injuring themselves and their riders? Millwall Birmingham play offs ...
