I wonder if there is any mileage in the rumour that SOD will be kicked upstairs and that Steve Cotterill will be manager for next season.
I really hope we dont have Steve Cotterill as do not rate him as a manager but when you look around at the moment there isnt anyone who you would say that you would really want as they would turn the club around. I do think though that either we have a manager to run things or if you are going to have a head coach then you have to also have a director of football to link up all the parts of the club but if we are looking to reduce out goings then having a head coach and director will not be the way to go. For either positions I would like someone youth oriented that will come in to help get the youngsters through the system. Barcelona are so say the best team in the world and most of their first 11 all came through their youth systems and it is no difference to German, Italian and other Spanish teams but in this country we look for instant success rather than building a team long term where we have people coming through. We need to rebuild and take a few years if needed to get a decent squad of young players together and not bring in 30+ year old players on 12 month contracts.

Don't know what you are getting so sensitive about. The rumour is there for you to read. It does'nt mention the source and it doesn't mention retirement. Its pretty much as the first post says. Take it or leave it I couldn't care less!
