In the past I would be worried, but I feel confident we have the manager and squad in place who can take us over the line. Tough game on Tuesday but like I said yesterday we all said the same about Ipswich yesterday and we met that challenge well, no reason why we won't do the same at Molineux. 4 point from the next 2 games would be a great return.

I'm more than happy to sit back and relax knowing Bruce will bring the right kind of players in. In Bruce we have a manager who's very experienced and will have scouted players all season for either championship or premiership football.

I'd be looking to invest in the future! Not buying 18/19 year old's nowhere near ready but buying players around the 23 mark who have impressed in the championship this year and we can make a profit on in a few years time, or if we are ambitious try and build around them and maybe push for some cup success and see that as a way into Europe (Swansea). I know I'm being very optimistic thinking about us being in Europe in 4/5 years time but you never know (or we could still be in the championship)

    Players I'd look at:

Alex McCarthy, 23 (Reading) - Been injured this season but every time he's played made various world class saves + amazing at Liverpool yesterday
Liam Bridcutt, 23 (Brighton) - Been Brighton's best player this season and easily makes it into my Championship TOTY
Nathan Redmond, 19 (Birmingham) - Bit inconsistent at the moment, but looks a real promising talent
Tommy Smith, 23 (Ipswich) - Been solid at Ipswich and main reasons why the kept 5 clean sheets in a row recently, until the mighty tigers came!
Sam Byram, 19 (Leeds) - Looked good this year, bright spark for Leeds in a **** season, can play as full back or winger so can be good in a 3-5-2
James Husband, 19 (Donny) - Another one who would fit in well as the wing back in a 3-5-2, should we want to continue playing it.
Paddy Madden, 23 (Yeovil) - League 1 top scorer this year, might be too big a step up, but Quinn made the transition all right so he could be another jem!

And the big marque summer signing:

Jozy Altidore, 23 (AZ) - Improved massively since his time with us and could be the equivalent to Villa's Benteke signing. Don't know if he'd want to come back here or not, but it's at least worth a try! Although i did here Chelsea were looking at him at January.

Sorry for the long post got a bit carried away thinking I was actually Steve Bruce for a second! ;)

Today he scored his 3rd hatrick of the season in a 6-0 win! Unlikely but i really do hope we sign him if we do get to the promised land!

Altidore wont come back to us. I know people who know him and he didnt enjoy playing for us. He has also said that we were one of his many stepping stones in his life to AZ and how he does not see himself playing again in England. There has also been talk about him going to LA after a few years, although that might be a stretch. LA could certainly pay more than we could for him.

I don't think Bruce would buy loads, I think he'd try get 2 or 3 real quality players and see where we go. By January if we're around the relegation zone but have half a chance of staying up I'd expect him to try and get what's needed to see us across the finish line. Will certainly be interesting though.

Im not saying we'll go for him cos I assume he royally pissed Bruce off the way he left Sunlan, but one would have to expect Darren Bent will move and surely he'll only get a middle to low team. Someone like Fulham, a struggler who stayed up or one of the promoted teams.

Di Canio will either want to get rid of players if they stay up, in order to bring his own players in, or he will have to get rid of players if they go down, in order to reduce the wage bill

True. But thats just to clear out his locker. I see that Stewart managed to gget a "4" in the last game he started.
CS will be lucky to get a game for Accrington the way he is going.

Is on my list along with Jordan Rhodes and Kevin Davies(Bolton). 2 can do for us what Lambert and Rodriquez are doing for Saints and KD has the PL experience and know how that our young squad will need.

Of course Rosie has a future but he is best in a 4-4-2 shape. I think that SB will use both systems in the PL.
