Well we seem to have some now!

Key thing seems to be getting more men forward. Take the second goal, we had at least three others running into the box pulling defenders away and hence creating the space for AJ to get his shot away.

Three were several other times when we had numbers in the box or midfielders running onto the play getting ahead of the forwards, take the third goal for example. In previous weeks players were sitting back and hench our lone forward was isolated and ineffective.

Must say I like this new style.

The most basic tactic in the book - off the ball runners just stretching their defence to create space for follow up troops. Just don't give the bloody ball away cheaply.

Sess and AJ can do some damage when they have runners dragging and distracting defenders. Great to see. That cut inside and finish is what we all envisaged on the day we signed AJ. Better late than never.

Never mind tictacs. I was told that PDC's first signing was a cattle prod. " 4 men in da box or a stick this a stick up a ya ass" Just an observation but I think it works pretty dam good.

Im looking forward to the years Summer signing window more and more. We know how Di Canio likes to play, so he will get attacking minded players with some pace. Hopefully a few Italians and continental players. Maybe that Falcao fella from Spain, and that Cavani guy from Napoli.

    Messy sounds quite tidy like.

Hopefully he does scout the Italian league, definitely some good buys in there. Am sick of paying over Inflated fees for British players with no hunger

I was a great relief seeing more than 1 read and white shirt in the newcastle box.

Mind you, N'Daie and Larsson did a fantastic job in breaking up play in the middle of the park. Nothing spectacular, nothing to get them noticed in a big way but quietly working away and winning the 50-50s and stopping NUFC from building anything from midfield.
