What does it make you? Tens years of building so that you might have a chance of being able to play a qualification round to enter a competetion that you will never win but will give you enough money to stop the banks from harrassing you for a while. The hope of telling your kids about how you were there when Everton bravely took humiliation in Europe so they could afford to hold on to Leighton Baines and ensure he finished his career trophyless.
