Half-time at Newcastle, Sunderland 1-0 up, playing well under PDC look much keener to stay up than we have demonstrated in our recent games, especially in the 1st half of our own "derby" game at Fulham.

Also in the early part of this game Cabaye had a Zamora like high boot that went un-carded by Howard Webb.

One note of caution - commentators just mentioned that Sunderland have not kept a clean sheet at St. James Park since 1966!

I don't think it matters either way Kilburn.

I saw enough yesterday to take away whatever glimmer of hope I may have had that we might survive.

It just isn't gone to happen I'm afraid.

Yes, totally agree, that was my point - Sunderland, at Chelsea last week, and Newcastle today, are showing the determination of a team that wants to stay in the Premier League, unlike us.

Sunderland 2-0 up now (Adam Johnson), good on them, playing like they want to stay up.

3-0 now (David Vaughan) - done & dusted!

Look on the bright side. Sunderland winning leaves Norwich 1 point from the relegation places.

    That will please Col.

no it doesn't it leave us 4 points from them. Wigan have a game in hand but they still have to win it!

Looks like Stoke are on the skids too - Man Utd 1-0 up taking the home crowd out of the game early.

    Sorry Batterseacanary.

You are right. Your are 4 points away from safety. Do Wigan have 2 games in hand? Either way, you are very much involved now.

It looks like ourselves and Reading and any one of 4/5 teams for the last spot.

With fighting spirit I saw in Sunderland today, it could well come down to a shoot out between Stoke and Norwich.
Massive game for them versus Reading, we could also do them a massive favour against Stoke........

A big if, but if Norwich are dragged down will it affect the RVW signing batterseacanary?

Great news, now Ive gone from wanting the teams above us to lose to wanting them all to win apart from Norwich.

We could be officially relegated next week if we lose and the teams above us win, Stoke are looking favourites now, especially if we beat them.

I would laugh for a week if Norwich went down with us.

My mistake wigan have two in hand, still points not theirs yet. Apparently (and im pretty dubious of this) RVW will come regardless of us suffering relegation. Can't see it myself, but thats what mcnally says.

And col, i think norwich really could be in trouble now. On our side, we have home games that are winnable, but can't see where our next win is coming from now.

On a personal note, im sorry to see what looks like being relegation for QPR. As much as we joke and take the piss out of each other i think you guys have a great board, and one i often come and read, if only to see the latest episode of DT Sword and Cerny playing out! I hope you come back stronger (and we're still up here too)

I don't care who comes down with us now tbh. Even with all the usual crowd that mock us on here I am only interested in us however some of the Norwich fans that have mocked us should take not that both Wigan, Villa, and Sunderland are doing okay now. I wouldn't get too cheeky as they could be heading down as well. That would be funny with PL wanting out and going to Villa as well.
