I just have to comment on this. Such an exaggeration and makes me wonder what year you are living in! I know you are very anti Cardiff Norway but "animals", yeah right. If you judge Cardiff fans on Cardiff v Swans matches than you are getting a skewered view. Imagine if Swans fans were judged on your supporter behavior against Cardiff. They are special events. For 10 years in the Championship, we have been traveling around and recieivng many away fans. We have had no more trouble than the average club over the last 3 years. Away fans do not feel scared to travel to Cardiff. WE are not hated by everyone. This season has shown that. In general we are just another club to the opposition fans. A very one eyed view there Norway. I know some of you have personal stories or the I know a guy tale, but overall the Cardiff City Stadium is no scarier than most places. If anything making the BPL will bring more passive kind of supporters rather then the foaming at the mouth type. On top of that, security is also increased in the BPL as you would have seen at your home games. I know many of you will never be convinced, but Cardiff will just become another club battling away and only hated because we are a Welsh club. And that, as I am sure you will agree, is no reason to be hated. Anyway, there you go, who would have thought 5 years ago that Cardiff and Swansea would be playing a derby in the BPL Happy days indeed.
Siam this isnt that a long ago is it. Top of the league though. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-16313472
Yes, but as that article says: "South Wales Police said the fall in arrests at Cardiff games reflected well on fans, police and stewards and all could be "very proud of themselves". Police said the "high number" of ban orders reflects "proactive work".
Spin Spin Spin. No matter which way you try to put it, there is still issues, even if reduced, You cannot deny you still had the most orders. Police said the "high number" of ban orders reflects "proactive work". That still mean you have more issues in or out of the ground than all other clubs.
siam i have been to the ccs as a neutral and of course there is no problem , the problem with your animals comes when you travel away. Posh was just a recent example, i know newcastle lads that cant wait to welcome you back after your lot were throwing things onto them from above in st james park, thats not even mentioning the trouble in the evenings I got fed up of going to championship grounds to find the stadium bars are closed "beause of cardiff the other week" then we leave with the words, "your welcome back any time, nothing like the other lot" Traveling to bars that refuse to serve cardiff yet bus loads of swans are welcome, the list goes on and on mate, seems you are the one totally out of touch not me, as i said you will end up embarrassing the welsh nation with your trouble making fans , the english media will love it and try and lump all the welsh in together. Now that millwall have kicked off again it will bring into sharp focus the way the dragons behave, the premier league is the rolls royce of football leagues, they will not let anybody spoil its image, including a load of muppets from cardiff . Time will tell Siam . I must congratulate you on your promotion though and i also wish the genuine football dragons all the best, you of course are the majority but to deny your minorities actions means your just sticking your head in the sand
Norway-jack, sorry I didn't mean to call you a tosser as you were always one of the good guy's. Haha I forgot about the Malaysian flags in the corners at our ground. Perhaps I should have thought twice before 'shooting from the hip' Anyway, just to put the record straight, even though we have new owners and play in red and the bluebird has become more of a dragon going down the match is the same old experience, the same atmosphere and the same buzz as it ever was, this time to attendances of over 26,000 and the premier league awaiting......good times ahead, even if it won't last forever. Part of me tells me that I just want to experience the premier league as it is more real, competitive and balanced in the Championship. Can't wait for the South Wales derby's though.
As i said, at the ccs there is no problem but when you travel you are the worst and most hated set of fans in the country over taking Leeds and Millwall which take some doing ! its so typical of dragons to stick their head in the sand once again, same with debt ..stick the head in the sand and dont worry, same with the rebrand, beat people up who wish to remain blue...but stick your head in the sand!!
Or we make more effort to stamp out trouble than other clubs. You don't seem to be recognizing the fact that Cardiff more than many many clubs have made a stance against trouble makers. This means placing banning orders on fans for incidents that other clubs would not. So no, I disagree that we have more incidents than all other clubs If we topped the arrest league, I would agree. Man Utd are top. We fall about 15th in the arrest league. SO we are not perfect but hardly animals and a disgrace I guess I will drop the issue now. If you hold the opinion we are a disgrace, well so be it. But don't try to suggest that Cardiff will take some of the gloss of the Swans halo's because that is just not true. If Swansea's reputation is linked to Cardiff, then you have a real problem. Everton are not linked to Liverpool. City and United are not linked, the London clubs are not linked, so there is no reason to suggest that Swansea who have been in the BPL for two seasons already should have their reputation affected by Cardiff. If it was, there could only be one explanation for it
Nobody mentioned Swans being linked to Cardiff Siam, that is typical Cardiff centric bollocks what i said was we will be lumped together because we are all Welsh !! i know some of you think wales is now cardiff but honestly mate it isnt... Do not deny your fans are problem makers, this season ,the last couple of weeks you have been doing a "millwall" and fighting each other at a game up in posh, lucky for you the press glossed over it . Stop pretending you have no problem, thats why you have a problem!! If you fail to understand tht welsh clubs are always going to be treated a bit different then you are in for a shock, beleive me there are many people who hate the fact there was one and now two welsh clubs in the premier league ! everything is fine on the surface but as soon as you lot step out of line(and our lot too) then the media jump straight on it and start the persecution. Look at the media storm over ash williams kicking a football that hit van persie, look at what happened with the ball boy . Every chance to knock us of our perch they will take. you dont know because you havent been there . Your fans were kicking off 2 weeks ago..with each other..FACT !! If you do that in the Prem league you will shame the Welsh Nation ..FACT !!
I think you will find the arrests are proportional to the numbers involved at massive clubs like Man utd and liverpool, not small clubs like Cardiff and Swansea
What siam says is quite true. Calm down and why focus on all the negative 'what if's'. Why not be happy for Wales (if that's what is behind this...initial references to Wales) that it will have 2 clubs in the premier league.....life's too short to be bitter. Wear a smile not a frown, or is it just a front for hating Cardiff City?
Norway! Why do you perpetuate the lie about City fans fighting up at Peterborough? I saw a heated disagreement nothing more. Stop trying to gain kudos from fellow posters when you don't actually know what happened at a game you didn't attend.
"Our boys are coming for you....." I'm sure Michael Laudrup and the lads are quaking in their boots at the prospect. Anyway, I do sincerely congratulate you on your promotion. Equally sincerely, I believe you've got one hell of an eye opener in store. Be good to have the derby back though. As for your fans, I'm happy to reserve judgement..... for now.
'our boys will be coming for you.....as in a local derby ivor', so ML and your lads will be taking 3 (or 6 points) for granted against us. I can take that attitude every time. I know it will be tough for us but we have a good coach and who knows. We have done exceptionally well this season in a league where anyone can beat anyone on their day and have led since November without being threatened and before you say it I know it will be different next year but lets see what cash we have to spend on players and let's see how the new team will gel.
Bloody hell, the Dragons have only been promoted a matter of hours and you cant move for all the ****ers on here .. What a bunch of false people they are, they dont call in to see us for years then all of a sudden.. Plenty of slaps being dished out up in posh, my mates were there ITIWAN must have been sticking his head in the sand....again !! Ive talked about the forthcoming infestation for a while now ,nice to see that yet again Norway Jack gets everything right . Clash, it is however nice to see you back, been a while but i do beleive we always had some good debate and banter between us, will be nice to pick that up again
They are the two huge Welsh Dragon flags that they place behind both goals at our ground. Roughly in the same spot as they place the words 'Ospreys' in your stadium.
So you have 2 Dragons flags ...and your called the Dragons...hmmm ,not very good is it ?? This is exactly what has been missing , intelligent debate that counts who has the most flags... I guess the next giant leap is that whoever has the most flags is the biggest club or something right ??
