Bittersweet this. There was rumours about them going to start on the thatcher dead party boys, so I'd been looking forward to this weekend in anticipation of some jolly good brawling on the telly box. This ****e just ensured I'd get some scrapping to watch, but has this little skirmish cost me the price ledge of potentially seeing 1000 vs 1000 with petrol bombs, bricks, and millwall bricks?
I went on the Millwall board last night. What a joke. Millwall and Leeds fans all trying to sound harder than each other and making out it was a storm in a teacup. Not one of them would condemn those who committed the violence because they didn't want to look weak in front of their thick mates. The other pathetic thing is the way posters from other clubs kiss their arses when they go on there. It's like the way wimpy kids always used to pander to the school bully and pretend to be hard as well.
I think some of those posts were rather tongue in cheek and several of the Leeds and Millwall fans are mates off the board and are just taking the piss. Chesh is a cock though.
There were about 3 posts at the most by Millwall condemning it. How many do you think would condemn it on this board if it was City and our fans fighting each other at Wembley? It's like the last little enclave of 80s hooliganism on there, or rather big hard keyboard warriors and those who suck up to them.
It's happened there's not we can do about it. Lets make it positive and rejoice in watching the battle scenes where mill wall fans kick the **** out of each other!!! Excellent viewing, should be on PPV. Seriously though there's suggestions the ones who caused the **** were west ham fans. Apparently they spent most the game in the concourse getting pissed not even watching the game and went out into the stand and caused a ruckus. I guess all will be revealed over the coming days/weeks.
****in disgrace. I wrote to the club after they trashed our place and got some bullshit email back about "because it's Millwall", and how hard they've been working to stamp it out. Bollocks. Seem to remember the Tigers had a pretty bad rep once yet they can now get together and march through Huddersfield without any bother. Feel sorry for the real fans and the kids caught up in it yesterday though.
Might I recommend that Humberside Police's Insp Darren Downs and his team be brought in to head up a special task force to nail the culprits?
http://newsthump.com/2013/04/14/mil...bley-violence-marred-by-footballing-outbreak/ News thump is a piss take by the way
http://uk.news.yahoo.com/millwall-fighting-arrests-fans-clash-191549221.html A good a reason as any to stop football becoming a family sport.
I love it how you say trashed our place. Both sets of fans chucked a few seats and bottles between each other, and they tried to run at the City fans in the East Stand, but shat themselves at the line of coppers & stewards and ran back to their seats. Hardly end of the world stuff.
What did you expect them to say or do ? They've been 'tackling the problem' for years , personally I think they couldn't care less unless the FA or somebody fine the club
Don't see what the problem is anyway, it's just part of the match day experience specially where millwalls concerned. Better than the face painted foam hander types.
Some of the scenes from yesterday. Hopefully those involved will get their just desserts.
We OLM? If the Met Police didn't want to pull people who cause trouble at Millwall maybe they didn't think the crime was worth pursueing. Millwall have a policy of banning anyone convicted of an offence, no conviction no ban.
Maybe they had the hump that Humberside Police had the evidence to put away the people that kept them in overtime for many a year?
