Seem well suited to each other. If it was a movie, it might be called "No good, all bad and butt ugly".
I'm not defending the actions of some of the people in there but we have to remember there were kids and women amongst that crowd of 30k before we label them all "scum" etc. I know we keep on running this line with Millwall but 99% were well behaved. There is simply no way Millwall have the fanbase to accommodate 32k people, 50% of those have never stepped foot in The Den and 35% won't be there for their next league game. I suspect most of the people were just mates of Millwall fans that just wanted to "go down with the lads" for a carnival atmosphere and all day binge, in which case unsavoury incidents were bound to flare up. Don't think anyone is more frustrated than the genuine Millwall fans and their board who have worked tirelessly to tackle this problem, shame really.
I think the main problem yesterday was the 5.15 kick-off, many of those who went were in the pubs before midday and arrived 'tanked-up', I'm amazed the Police didn't insist on an early kick-off, once again the TV companies call the tune. Apparently there were very few trains going back north in the evening as well...
**** all wrong with Millwall fans ... Passionate fan base and I totally respect them. Collectively any group of people can be a danger to your demons in your heads. Too many people brainwashed on here. Reputations what are they really? Inside any human there is an animal how you deal and understand that is the key IMO

From what I read, three drunk blokes were trying to cause trouble by barging into people in their seats, they understandably got pissed off and a ruck ensued. Then the stewards didn't go into the crowd to stop it, the police then tried only to be attacked right at the entrance. Millwall are scum, as anyone will know who went to our last away game there.
Just seen it on the News, full riot gear and 27 arrested. The Mackems must've really got under their skin today...
