I'd rather be playing mid table teams than the bottom 3 in our next three matches.

Really think Wolves could be a very hard game. Watford will stroll past a ****e Millwall side who are almost safe and recovering from the FA cup defeat. That's a gimme.

This could go to the last game quite easily, so just stay calm and support the team. We need to be 110% on Tuesday as do the players ;)

Watford V Leicester will be a big game, if the foxes are out of the playoff run in would big Nige be spiteful and gift Watford the points??

Doubt it, probably be sacked if they fail to make the playoffs.

Don't Leicester still have Watford to play?

That means that Nigel Pearson (should his Leicester beat them) could potentially send us up...! <yikes>

Will be a tough game on Tuesday, though we dealt very well with what most of us considered a tough game yesterday.

Wolves will be gutted and morale will be rock bottom. They're definitely there for taking should Brucey get our players in the correct mindset.

The 'Udders came from behind to beat them at Molineux and they basically self-imploded.

They've been a better away team than a home side this Season anyway.

    COME ON CITY!

i see where people are coming from about playing mid table teams would be better as they have nothing to play for etc..
but if somebody said youd be 6 points clear with 4 to go, 3 of those against the bottom 3..youd take it..
there bottom 3 for a reason no matter how much fight they have, so if we perform and match there workrate, results should follow..

This will be tough in a different way to Ipswich. Ipswich are solid in defence but offer very little going forwards, the tough part of beating Ipswich was to be able to score a goal at all.

Wolves, given their position, will come flying out and go **** or bust, can score goals but their defence has more holes than 50 chimp. The challenge from then will be keeping them at bay for 90 minutes but scoring shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Playing mid table teams could mean the players are more relaxed with less pressure.
Playing the bottom three means they are fighting for their lives but could be more jittery.

Either way it doesn't matter to us if we play to our potential.

Its in our power to grab automatic promotion but also in our power to throw it away.
What we have achieved so far is a guaranteed top six finish.

    One game at a time.

pressure is a funny thing cause apparently according to zola we were under loads of it and they were pressure free before we won and they lost yesterday. funny old world eh gianfranco?

leave the mind games to SAF eh?

wolves definitely the toughest game, brizzle will be buried by the time they visit and my mate says the tykes were very weary yesterday. decent cup run taken it out of them and the flitcroft factor has worn off.

might have a rolling tenner on watford winning their last 4 then if the unthinkable does happen at least I can get absolutely hammered!

Don't know if this has already been said; if so I apologize.

But if we want to be mathematically promoted on Friday (who doesn't?) then as well as getting 1 more point then Watford do on Tuesday, we also need get 2 more points then Palace do at Ipswich because of their games in hand!

Which reminds me, We haven't seen AKCJ recently. I wonder if he has been out booking his Wembley tickets? If so, wonder who he'll support?

One positive is there aren't many teams that are the traditional mid-table sides this season. Almost everybody is only a result away from being within striking distance of the playoffs or looking nervously over their shoulder at the relegation zone. A couple of games time there could be a few more, or the table could be split into a 10 team relegation battle and a 10 team race for the playoffs.

Not quite right, we do still need to eliminate them from the reckoning, but we only need to match their result in midweek. Palace are 11 behind with 15 to play for (their 5 games). If we match them (with any result) midweek then they're 11 behind with 12 to play for, so a win on Friday would put them 14 behind with 12 to play for.

Just a small point, but if we're talking about Watford's result tonight going our way meaning we can get promoted on Friday, we've also got that if Cardiff lose tonight then 2 wins for us would see us go joint top on Friday.

Maybe not in the previous millenium, but this will be our 4th promotion in the last 9 seasons.

    Sounds easy to me.

There's a reason why the bottom 3 are the bottom 3 - they are WORSE than the other teams.

Statistically speaking you could not hope for a better 3 matches.

But we still need to do the job.

Firstly match Watford's result or better it.

On O'Hara: Yes he's an excellent player and a leader in the middle.. remember how he was carrying Pompey a couple of seasons ago? For Wolves it's akin to Liverpool losing Gerrrard.

Plus I listened to Dean Saunders BBC interview - he sounds very dispondent

Sakho is their best player by a country mile.

    It's a good thing he's out.
