    Hard one this time...

    Brady
    Meyler
    Simpson

Special mention also for Koren, who ran over to us after he scored with a look of absolute joy on his face.

Good to see Fryatt back on the pitch too.

For me they all had a good game apart from Quinn who was unusually absent, Elmo who was absolute **** and Chezzy who was responsible foy day-dreaming for their goal.

Evans was immense in the first half but was carrying an injury in the second before going off.
Boyd ran his socks off all day as did Simpson before he went off.

But my man of the match was Faye for an absolute world class tacking in our box just before we scored the winner. Quite simply the man is immense and celebrated like a teenager at the end.

Second was Boyd and third was Hobbs for putting in a sterling effort despite carrying an injury.

Didn't hear yesterdays score 'til 10pm local time via txt. Went mad !!!!!
Would you believe we get back on 4th May @15-05.

    Talk about bad timing.

Brady - immense, probably our best player now. Improved dramatically this season.
Meyler - his usual self, getting stuck in, breaking up play, bursting forwards, causing all kinds of problems and never stops running.
Fryatt - for completing his comeback from injury

Hard to pick a 3rd after that second half, proper ****e, would have gone for one of the defenders but Faye did his best to gift them 2 awful goals, Hobbs was sloppy not just with the ball but got done like a Paul mcshane of old, and Chester, Faye and stock dale all napping for their goal. So none of the defence deserve it.

Elmo was crap and looked like a little girl trying to keep his hair in shape again. Quinn was unusually quiet whilst not poor, just very average. Evans was having a pretty good came making some fantastic tackles and making sure he took the man if not the ball, lucky not to be sent off though I thought. Boyd was extremely sloppy, gave the ball away a bit where being clinical could(should?) have resulted in a goal. Simpson same as ever, run all day not really achieve much. Stock dale made one good save but had **** all else to do. Fathi was trying too hard and koren completely changed the game and scored the winner.

So if fryatts injury come back doesn't deserve a place in the top 3 I'd choose koren.

Brady just gets better and better each game.....his set pieces are a bit inconsistent still, but in general play he is becoming a nightmare for defenders..can go left and right and has definitely started to outshine elmo as our biggest threat..
that cross for koren yesterday was probably the highlight of the season for me, the arrogance to just effortlessly flick it in with the outside of his boot straight on to korens head was absolute class, if it was a premiership player it would have been shown 20 times on match of the day..

Agree, we'll do well to keep hold of him, Chester and aluko much longer once they're being advertised on the main stage. Hopefully the club can evolve at the rate these players are as they'll be ****ing hard to find equal replacements, even if we're in the premier league.

I always thought Brady was showing a lot of what he's capable of last season and was astonished to see people calling him **** and to send him back, this season we've gave him some instructions and told him what to do and look how it's worked out, last season he was just stuck out wide and told to do whatever he felt like, but the only options he had were cut in and shoot from 20 yards, try and cross to a midget front line or try and pass through 11 defenders in the box.

Nice to see all the praise for Brady from those who were at the game. I've been saying for a while he's been getting better and better. The amount of goals he's involved in is ridiculous for a wing-back. He's a joy to watch.

Agree, if he was with us from the start of the season i am pretty sure we would see him near the top of Actim Index. Mind you people saying he is getting better than Elmo, Elmo is one assist away from being the top assister in the whole league, which isn't half bad for a full back.

Yeah i commented about his celebration, he was like a man on a mission, i think the team spirit is actually immense! Surely should things go ok, against cardiff we can use 10 subs and get aluko and bruce out playing on crutches for tenlast 30 secs <laugh>

    Brady is brilliant.

He's second in the assists table, by the way - 12 assists, 1 behind Tom Ince.

I didn't go yesterday, but I am well aware just how ****ing brilliant Robbie Brady is, and I'm delighted he did it again.

    He is ace.

massive credit has to go to Bruce.....the whole promotion bid ( i know its not complete yet, but 99% sure it is) is based on the system and the 2 wing backs imo..
i remember when he changed it, he got loads of stick on here calling it negative etc, which i could never understand as it technically has 3 defenders instead of the usual 4..
also many where having a pop when he dropped rosie, but its turned out to be a great call, we dont have the strikers that most the other teams have but them 2 down the wing has been our ace in the pack which i dont think any other team can match, not even the palace diving squad..

Fergie said he rated him, but I think Brady wanted to play first team football (like Pogba) and had to let him go.

Pogba is a cracking player as well, based on what I've seen of Juve this season.

Him and Quinn have the best combination play I've seen at City. Our best two players imo.
