If it's a genuine question then lets have a think about the answer, have you ever heard of anyone spending £35million on pies? Hmmm who would do that? No-one therefore the answer is no Ashley won't spend £35M on players but he's not going to spend it on pies either.

 

I will try to answer your genuine question with a genuine answer.

From day one the club have said that all of the £35 million will be spent on the aquisition of new players, their wages and THE GENERAL RUNNING OF THE CLUB. This does not mean that Pardew has £35 million to spend on players.

I see some money being spent on new players, not sure if it'll be the full £35 Million. But expect to see new faces coming in, hopefully more like Ben Arfa or Tiote for £5 -6 million but making a huge diffrence.
I don't expect any big champagne siginings, which is probably best. Been there done that and it didn't work.

Very much like your £13 Million on Gyan, world cup player but not really lived up to his price tag.

You'll be losing 7-8 players so how do you see them being replaced. considering most were loan or out of contract so won't be getting any money back off them?
