Sounds like Brady had another great game involved in both of our goals and the back three were unbeatable as always.

on the train back after the game. I'd say Meyler by a mile. What a difference he makes...looked full of running so the suspension worked in our favour.

Boyd worked his socks off upfront.

Then Brady who had a very good game...the flick with he outside of the boot to set up Roko was superb.

Honorable mention to the defence. And Quinny, who just has a superb understanding with Brady.

Shame we let them back into the game after half time....not sure what Brucey said to them but there was no way we could just defend a 1-0 for the entire half. Happily it didn't matter.

We played some lovely stuff first half...we seemed to be enjoying playing on a half decent pitch.

I was astonished Bruce took off Simpson and played Koren up front. Then he scored! Brucie knows best. Simmo played well again though.

Meyler made a huge difference - first half was best I've seen since Watford away or Leeds at home

    1) Brady
    2) Meyler
    3) Quinn

No defenders because; Chester was great but at fault for their goal and Hobbs and Faye both looked uncomfortable when pressed, resulting in some poor passes. Faye was once again dominant in the air but whilst he kept winning headers, most went out of play. <laugh> Brady was brilliant today and he's starting to convince me, he's got incredible potential, Meyler showed us what we'd missed as a presence and someone to drive play forward and Quinn was just Quinn, played very well as usually the case.

    Seriously? At an away game?

If that pisses them off, they shouldn't be going on them.

I know some diehard man utd fans who go to their academy/reserve games who were disappointed brady was allowed to leave so easily(like pogba, who's been a revelation at juventus).. he's going to be a cracking player, and meyler and quinn are just class, getting better and better

    This is a tough one.

    1. Brady
    2. Meyler
    3. Simpson

3 seems like an odd choice but I thought Simpson's hold up play was really good today, I thought Quinn was slightly below par and made several basic errors and Faye also made a few near-horrendous errors throughout the game.

Overall, excellent first half performance, not great in the second half but who cares? I'll take four more of those.
