Interested to know what people think now. If you had a choice, Harry or someone else for next season in the Championship?
We will regret missing out on Aidkins. Not too bothered if we keep Harry or not TBH. Can't see Harry buying young hungrier players. I think he will only continue the trend of high wages for the over 30s. We have the core of a decent squad. Would love to see a younger manager given a chance.
If we want to bounce straight back I'd stick with Redknapp, but if we want to build a club and are prepared to wait a couple of seasons but get promoted with more chance of staying up I'd look elsewhere.
I'm leaning towards "someone else". But then again I'm in a **** mood, so probably best for me to stay off for a bit. Feeling really, really gutted!!
If not 'Arry, then I agree a younger manager to set the stall out for the next few years. Only one choice for me. Torono's Ryan Nelsen. Even on 'glass knees' he had us well organised. Imagine what he could achieve with time and Fernandes' backing? He's a leader that people are happy to follow. One with the brain to work out what's needed and the ability to motivate. He'll be a real winner as a manager. No doubt whatsoever.
I think Harry for a quick fix but as I have said before I think a major overhaul is needed that doesn't even plan for us to be in the premiership for two or more years. Changes that would give us sustainability. So maybe someone younger hungrier and definitely cheaper.
CON MAN Harry, has cost your club not only millions, but this has been, must now be consigned to the managerial scrap heap.
I believe Steve Cotterill was taken on in January as a replacement if we went down & Arry bolted. Don't rate him myself!
We need someone who puts QPR first. Someone with some kind of history/relation to us. Is there anyone out there that fill these attributes AND has the quality to pull it off? Only one name I can think of and that is Ollie. Imagine him in a role as manager/first team coach under El Tel as a sporting director. Not sure it's the way to go. I'd love a manager with QPR in his blood and who shows pride in representing us, something I think we've been lacking since Warnock left.
