Good old cliche - Form is temporary class is permanent Never been one of these to criticise him, you can see what he's trying to do every game with his passing. If we go up and he stays and plays, think he'll come into his own
I've bored everybody to tears with this on here for weeks but this is what your class players give you- an edge when you need it. He's getting on and isn't going to be fully charged all the time, if he'd been rested a few more times we might have got even more out of him. As it stands he's a had a mini-break today so we are probably going to get at least one more match-winning goal/piece of magic out of him this season.
Well done roko, just heard Brucey defending him but it was right to drop him. Class player with injured pride, result, a brave header!! Goal
He has played poorly recently, but 9 goals this season is a fantastic return. Brucey has got the best from Koren today.
and to think we've got Fryatt, Gedo & Aluko to come back as strikers too.. if we did it and I think we will, this has been a full squad effort..
I am glad that he erased my initial concern, it's a shame he is the wrong side of 30..can he cut it in the PL? I guess that Bruce is the only one that can answer that and not all you arm-chair pundits
He'll get more space in the Prem, being a much less physical league. It will probably be much better for him.
So what you are saying is, and I quote, "...silly me for thinking this is a forum where we are allowed to all have different thoughts and ideas,,,"
I loved his passion when he scored running over to the city fans! All of them at the end went Crazy! Faye was doing the Senegalese traditional dance
To be fair this doesn't change the fact he was poor in the past few games, but that bit of quality came to the fore. I think the key is he can't play as many games as he used to and thats the difference. To say he doesn't care and doesn't try is ridiculous, he really is a hard worker and does care about the club thats the most important thing.
I thought he was excellent vs Bunnley - not in the usual Koren sense but work-rate and getting a foot in was fantastic. I think if he doesn't score or split a defence open then he is seen as having a poor game - due mainly to our expectations judged on prior contribution.
