Antics not even in the top 10 worst players to grace the PL. re average, Wenger 100 years in charge, Rodgers not even 1 year and 8 points the difference? Oh and what was the score of that last game between us, I guess your side just can't beat average teams then Oh and Suarez Mata YPOTY Bale So Arsenal nominees, who's average exactly
We beat you 2-0 at Klanfield. We are in Top 4, you are not. Other than Suarez our squad trumps yours.
A 7 points difference, despite you playing a game more. The score when we last played you was 2-2, after you bottled a 2 goal lead. The game before, we came to Anfield and outplayed you from the first whistle to the last. Diaby made your midfield his bitch for the day. Re, who's average, I would say the team that is currently in seventh place and can't even score against West Ham at home, is the average one.
Not for this year, but vote for your favourite POTY winner (in other words: vote for Thierry Henry) in the last 10 years: http://www1.skysports.com/pfa/28574 Desperate Liverpool fans have pushed Gerrard to the top
Ronaldo for me, by far the best player of any of them out there, although what Henry, JT and Gerrard achieved shouldn't be undermined. Rooney, Giggs, RVP and Bale shouldn't even be in contention.
PFA Player of the Year nominations: Gareth Bale Michael Carrick Eden Hazard Juan Mata Luis Suarez Our former captain PFA Young Player of the Year: Gareth Bale Christian Benteke Eden Hazard Romelu Lukaku Danny Welbeck Jack Wilshere http://www1.skysports.com/football/...n-Persie-lead-PFA-Player-of-the-Year-nominees I predict that Bale and Benteke will win the awards. Surprised to see Hazard among the first nominees.
Welbeck is surely only there because of the games against Madrid. Not sure why Wilshere's there either
I echo the above thoughts regarding Wilshere and Welbeck. It seems the FA were desperate for some English nominees so lumped anyone in. Hazard is also an odd choice. Has he been more important to Chelsea than Cazorla, Michu or Baines have been to their respective teams?
What aboput Cantona, would he not count? Welbeck hands down wins for the most risiculous choice but yeah I'd have any of those you've mentioned ahead of Hazard too. Infact I'd have him as the 4th best Belgian in the league behind Fellaini, Mignolet and Vertonghen not that there's a huge amount between them other than probably Fellaini who would've been my 6th choice had I known they selected 6.
I noticed a little while ago that Hazard was statistically ahead of Mata and it surprised me at the time. I don't watch a lot of Chelsea games, but I guess Hazard has been important to them this year.
Hazard's a ludicrous choice, in my opinion. No Baines or Zabaleta and nobody from City, yet he gets in? Really? I think that Bale will end up falling between both posts, as people split their votes. Van Persie and Benteke, perhaps.
I wouldn't go that far but I don't think he deserves to be in there. Very inconsistent. The decision to not have a City player in there was laughable though. It really should be Suarez in my view, if not him then Mata or Bale. Welbeck for YPOTY was by far the worst nomination of them all, 1 goal all season... for supposed striker.
Look at the last 20 years...we've had players your team could only dream of...it's only in recent years as our team has evidently plummeted in quality can Liverpool be mentioned in the bracket as Arsenal. We've moved down....to your level.....yet still to this day remain above you in the league.
PFA Team of the Year: De Gea; Zabaleta, Ferdinand, Vertonghen, Baines; Mata, Carrick; Hazard, Suarez, Bale; Van Persie.
