It's shaping up to be a cracking day.

All the banter will be epic, and two teams fighting to secure their PL status.

There'll obviously be a challenge in the game that sets everyone off.

It could be the biggest derby game in a long time.

Biggest derby in ages mate and possibly the last for a season at least subject to the result! I know its a derby but we NEED points desperately after playing United/Chelsea so the object is not too lose and if by somehow we do sneak a win then there will be no gloating from me as we could still slip away into the Championship.

No offence but I am not too worried about you guys more the lack of what we have to test you out, also the Di Canio factor is still relatively fresh so I am banking on that to kick in for the last 6 games.

Our games to secure EPL status are stoke, southampton and villa imo. 7 points from those and We will stop up.

The mags and everton games are bonus points.

We will get nowt at WHL.

That said, every derby is important and none more so than Sundays and for the reasons already given.

I'm actually looking forward to it now as well, even though I still firmly believe the craas are favourites. 2 weeks ago we had less than 10% chance of getting something. Now? I reckon its 60/40.

Bring it on. Paolo's Marauders are coming to toon.

Biggest one for us in years. With no guarantees of a result changing our season I am all for getting points on the board rather that then the following 5 games which look easier.
Thought NUFC played well enough last night but their defence struggled for pace on the turn; possible McClean/Johnson fest given the ball quickly enough.

Our defence suffers with Willo in it.
If Saylor is fit for Sunday we will be a different proposition.

I know this is a long shot but does anyone have a spare ticket going for the derby. Didn't originally have time of work on the Sunday but now I have and all my mates have got rid of thair tickets. Typical!!!

You will be lucky now, not even any on stubhub.
As far as I know the were only available to sch's although I might be wrong there but they are very strictly controlled.

Should put a big screen up outside of SJP so both sets of fans can 'mingle' !.

PdC is clearly working his butt off to get our lads up to speed, but it's down to them to do the business and therein lies our problem. I just hope he's had long enough...

Coloccini is a class act but he's gone in the head (I dont believe he is physically injured at all Albert); Mbiwa looks to have Brambles ability to switch off at times; Willo is a championship footballer.

As for 'Saylor' I just don't get it. Yes he is committed, throws himself into the game (literally) but he is a ****e footballer and can only be effective when he has Coloccini alongside to tell him what to do.

I hope he is playing tbh as he is as likely to give a penalty away as anyone on the park.

    Indifferent? About the derby match?

I doubt that kidda but I bet you were putting a brave face on.

I both love them and hate them with equal vigour. Tomorrow will be a mixture of nerves, tension, piss taking and good crack. So long as we don't lose its a bonus. A win and its party time. A defeat and its just not a good time to be near me. Lol
