They obviously think that will be the game we are mathematically down, I dont want to see any tears on the TV!
For those who need to be put out of their own misery we can be relegated after a defeat at home against Stoke if results go against us
Checking flights now, 3 of us going. They will be very expensive. Anybody with a Sky/Fox Sports subscription, cancel it for the hassle these bastards give us. 24 days notice to arrange travel is ridiculous and totally inconsiderate to the fans who travel to Premiership games from all over Britain and other parts of Europe.
Managed to book my flights and not too expensive. Just a bit of a dash to Gatwick afterwards. The quickest way is via Sherherds Bush mainline and Clapham Junction I think. Maybe some of you who travel that way can confirm? I notice they have only confirmed the Arsenal game. They still haven't confirmed when the Newcastle game is on and that's only 1 week after the Arsenal game.
Of you are tight on time then you may want the direct gatwick express Straight from Vic to Gat no stops and fast if you grab a train at clapham ie a eastbourne or Brighton train you will have to do stops
FFS, I'm getting tired of this. I'm going into full retro mode, all matches to kick off at 3 pm on Saturdays, only highlights of a couple of games on Match of the Day, bring back the Big Match on the same terms, kick Sky out, if you want to see a game you have to get off your arse or support a local team. Get rid of all the money, get rid of all the freeloaders and prima donnas, dump the Champions League, bring back the European Cup. While we're at it get rid of the internet, mobile phones, dozens of crap TV channels, X-box etc etc. Well that's better. So its a 5.30 kick off then.
If we have defied the odds by the time we play Arsenal and we're in with a shout then a late kick off can only be good news. The Arsenal players won't enjoy the hostile atmosphere a late kick off in the Bush can make.
OK, I have worked out the situation with regards to the Newcastle game. Hopefully this information will help people who are making travel arrangements. The games chosen by Sky for that weekend are as follows; Sat May 11th Aston Villa V Chelsea 12.45pm kick off (subject to FA cup final) Sun 12 May Arsenal V Wigan 1.30pm kick off (subject to FA cup final) Sun 12 May Man United V Swansea 4.00pm kick off The FA cup semi-finals are on this weekend, Millwall V Wigan on Saturday and Chelsea V Man City on Sunday. So, how does all that affect our Newcastle game? Well, if Wigan beat Millwall in the cup this weekend and reach the FA cup final (11th May), their game V Arsenal will have to be replaced with another game. If Chelsea reach the FA cup final, their game with Aston Villa will have to be replaced with another game. So, our game with Newcastle could be moved to the 12.45pm slot on Saturday May 11th or the 1.30 slot on Sunday 12th May. I believe a definite announcement will be made on Monday next week by Sky after the semi finals are played this weekend.
This is surely a good omen! Penultimate home game last season was at home to Spurs on ESPN (late Saturday) and we won 1-0.

its only 10-15 mins from SB to Clapham as thats the way I go, I think it may be quicker to go via Victoria but check online.
Thanks for the advice Saint Eustace and Flyer. We may have to leave 10 minutes early and dash down the Uxbridge Rd to Shepherds Bush. I will check the online schedules and have a definite plan of action.
