Excellent article. Like the majority of fans at the time, I was appalled at the manner & especially the timing of Nigel's removal and feared the worst for the rest of the season. I couldn't be happier to be wrong. Some of the stuff we've played has been breathtaking & it seems that MP is getting much more from the squad. The fact that articles such as this are now being written about our young English players is a credit to him. I still feel that we'd have stayed up under NA, but it would probably have gone down to the wire. Nigel will have been chastened by the experience, but he will have learned a lot about life in the fast lane, and he'll come back stronger in the future - and I still think a few years down the line, he could be an England manager.
