And this despite Sunderland being one of the biggest clubs in Europe! (well, that's according to PDC and a few SMBs on the sunderland board) <laugh>

In what respect ? Is it just that you object to translation from the Portuguese, that a word for word translation would be "Stadium of the Light" or is there something actually substatively wrong with the stat ?

Bingo.

It would be worthy of a hearty :emoticon-0136-giggl and a <applause><applause> otherwise.

Quality stat and 100% correct.

Indestructible - I like you. Telling yourself a few porkies to get chirpy about the derby, I can smell the fear from here.

Thank you. And thank you for acknowledging my stat. Porkies h(ahaha), I'm afraid it is not. Fear? Not really, I'm expecting a Newcastle victory and probably a comfortable one at that too.

This forum game is new to you isn't? If I had been referring to your stat I'd have replied to your post. As it is it is just a response to the OP's stat/fact.

Happy to help you out there

You're generally pretty reasonable craic, Indie, but I'm afraid that I don't understand that stat/allegation at all. Below is a list of the years that newcastle has done the double. Alll of the home wins were are SJP. Is your stat just nonsense or am I missing some sneaky interpretation somewhere ?

Newcastle doubles
Season Home Away
1909–1910 1–0 2–0
1911–1912 3–1 2–1
1913–1914 2–1 2–1
1920–1921 6–1 2–0
1955–1956 3–1 6–1
1956–1957 6–2 2–1
1992–1993 1–0 2–1
2002–2003 2–0 1–0
2005–2006 3–2 4–1

Don't worry Freddd, he's just been having a few whisky chasers to numb the pain of us being in a European QF

I believe this is what Indestructible was referring to. A wholly expected "dig".

I'm on about Exeter City. As a stat it is correct, whereas the original post is not correct. Yes, I accept that is being pedantic- it is the derby on Sunday don't you know. If we be a bit mischevious in this close to the game, when can we be?

Oh, and good luck against Benfica, genuinely.
