It is only jealousy. Let's look at the facts: SWP paid £60k/week ... has earned about £1k Mackie paid £29k/week ... has earned about £1.5k Pretty even in my book. Both are overpaid. Turn it on his head ... I don't see Mackie offering to give back any because he hasn't done much this season.
It is also normal for players in Premier League squads to be on different wages. This is nothing new and if we were successful it wouldn't be so much of an issue.
I bet Mackie didn't complain when he probably got a pay rise or promotion bonus two years ago. As much I like Jamie, he has failed to deliver consistently, remember last season towards the end he and the "overpaid" Cisse were a strong front pairing. Neither have emulated any such consistency at all this season despite both getting numerous opportunities. Shame if Mackie leaves, but I wouldn't be that concerned if he did.
I was only joking Pete, you can call me what you like mate it doesn't bother me. I've been called a lot worse.
Yes, I'll tell the builder on my house how much I earn a week. Then I might tell him of my workplace conditions, quite a high profile workplace. What could possibly go wrong?
Wow, you guys have an average player on 29k a week. I doubt the likes of Norwich, Wigan, Swansea and Reading even have 1 player on that sort of wage. Even the likes of Villa, Sunderland and Stoke wouldn't have many players around that wage. All of your signings are players that have no interest in your club and are just there because of the ridiculous amount of money your throwing at them. Samba is a great example of this imo. This is why your failing in the prem, in fact going to fail as a club if you do not stop the rot.
Josh, with the greatest respect everybody on this board is well aware of why rangers are failing. The reasons are many and have nothing to do with Chris sambas reported wages. Fyi most footballers are mercenaries concerned with lining their sky rockets. Our mercenaries just aren't very good at football that's all. (sparkless Hughes take a bow)
There hasn't been a club yet in premiership history that has been able to work up from the grass roots to become a major player in this league We have of course failed on the pitch Off the pitch worldwide our club has made massive moves forward towards that goal QPR as a brand is beginning to grow rapidly hence the investment The backing and idea is to take a west London club that already has a history of flair and passion and grow it It's about attracting attention and whatever league we are in next year the same focus will be there Chelsea ,City Blackburn have purchased success and grown this way and in fact tot up the spend by clubs to try and compete Liverpool and Leeds have been disgraceful with money in the past QPR on paper is one the richest clubs in the world currently and daly the figures that worry your attention and make your opinion void is the fact that this is loose change. There will be many more investors to build QPR that's certain based on brand and location How do you think the top clubs have become so powerful ? ... Money and marketing To take a very small club like QPR and make it big is an attractive option because of London and the continuing growth of the madness I fully understand the focus of attention that the outside looks upon QPR and won't try and insult anyone by giving my opinion why you and others find us as a story attractive . Some/Most don't give a fuch about QPR so what but time this project is finished Some/most won't be able to deny . The big clubs haven't ever had to build up as quickly and QPR is coming from a place where the nation looked upon us as great little underdogs Swansea have had great success and I love the way they have done it and good luck to them I sense they will become a great club ... They play good football IMO and have risen from the depths and taken many thrashing a by us along the way yet they stand proud cup winners and the whole league should credit them QPR are doing things a different way so what if its failed at the moment I am fully confident we are growing too We play at times thus season very good football and have a brilliant squad foundation A new show piece ground planned and state of the set training on their way It's coming and I hope in time you understand and accept your attraction to the excitement
For anyone outside QPR who don't have blue eyes: No one knows what it's like To be the bad man To be the sad man Behind blue eyes No one knows what it's like To be hated To be fated To telling only lies But my dreams They aren't as empty As my conscience seems to be I have hours, only lonely My love is vengeance That's never free No one knows what it's like To feel these feelings Like I do And I blame you No one bites back as hard On their anger None of my pain and woe Can show through But my dreams They aren't as empty As my conscience seems to be I have hours, only lonely My love is vengeance That's never free When my fist clenches, crack it open Before I use it and lose my cool When I smile, tell me some bad news Before I laugh and act like a fool If I swallow anything evil Put your finger down my throat If I shiver, please give me a blanket Keep me warm, let me wear your coat No one knows what it's like To be the bad man To be the sad man Behind blue eyes
