Thanks for the advice, no wonder the Tollies is no longer made/sold! Is there a particular establishment renound for keeping their Adnams in good order, I might try a couple ahead of KO.
Wherry is brewed by Woodfordes rather than Adnams. That said, both are fine beers. You can get both in the Ipswich area. My favourite from Adnams is Ghost Ship, and Nelson's Revenge from Woodfordes. There is a really good pub in Ipswich that has the full Adnams range on gravity dispense (no tight tits alas). Can't remember the name but that is what I will be seeking out pre-match. Its about 15 minutes walk from the ground IIRC.
Only 700 City expected, I know it's one of the worst games for us to get to, but considering our position, that really is piss poor.
yes. Those 2 do come highly recommended thankfully - so will give them a try. I dont mind a cider now and again either. Best thing of all the hotel bar serves as long as your awake and/or your wallet can cover. Lol. Lager is a safety net for when the beer is crap. Nowt wrong with Stella - Budweiser as examples. I know. Lager was mentioned just in case the beer was dire. Hope this helps. Not really. With Wolverhampton away tuesday many I suspect will going to that one. Could be massive IF saturdays results go the way we all hope. I also suspect that Barnsley away could be bigger than it was in 2008.!!
When I made the journey up to Hull from Ipswich earlier in the season I didn't find it that bad a place to get to, once you get past Peterborough it's a doddle! The worst places for us in terms of travel are always Cardiff and the clubs in the North West and worst of all Blackpool!
The North West clubs are nice and easy for us to get to and from, which is handy, as nobody would want to stay over. We're quite lucky really, there's only really the Cardiff, Brighton and Bristol(and the south London games) that are a bit of hassle to get to, though getting to you can take longer than getting to some of the London clubs.
Get in. My hotel has Adnams so the beer is sorted for saturday night. Just need Cardiff and Watford lose with a Hull City win and its happy days.
