The weight is the same (or the hovercraft is probably heavier than a normal cart). The pressure can be reduced though since the force is applied over a much greater area. In fact the hovercraft is supposed to apply a pressure over 30 times less than a person's foot. Physics! <ok>

Basically, just being pedantic about weight vs pressure <ok>

Nah, I don't want Poulter to win. He's a cocky prick. Nearly hit me on the head with one of his drives in Dubai when I was absolutely nowhere near the fairway! Then when he came to the ball he was kicking off with all the spectators - 'for Gods sake move out of my way'. He balooned his next shot too, which was nice to see!

Crazy that there is a 14 year old playing in it. Hope he does well...

Ha ha, it took every bit of self control! I did make a comment when he was complaining about spectators being around him, that he should have hit it on the fairway rather than into our designated area. The stewards didnt take too kindly to it!

Did he hear you ? <laugh>

I always thought he came across asa down to earth, heart on his sleeve sort of guy ? That might have been why he was so mardy if he was playing **** ? Certainly seems like he's an emotional bloke.

He's like golfs version of Luvgonzo <ok>

Yeah I said it to him <laugh>

Nicest guys there were the Molinari brothers. Got held up on one of the tees and chatted with the crowd for a few minutes - gave some kids tees and stuff out of the bag.

Would love to see a Brit or better still an English player win it. Poulter would be great but any of the others. If not then Sergio .
Don't want to see any yanks win it except for Phil, who is a magician when he's on it!

Just started watching the first series. Am reading the books at the moment and ,as the first series is based on the first book and I am nearly finished, thought I would watch from beginning.
The book is excellent and so is the tv series, very true to the book. Excellent series and I understand it just gets better.

I've just caught up now after Series 1 Ep 1 all the way to S 3 Ep 2. Phenomenal program, at the moment it is my favourite ahead of The Walking Dead.

Not sure how to take that.

My only problem with the golf this weekend is that it's going to finish at about 2 in the morning and I have to get up for work pissed off with that.
