Bury need £1m immediately to prevent them from going out of business and they're looking for a consortium of wealthy local fans/companies to invest £100k each. They could be relegated on Saturday and their attendances have dropped to 2,700, so it's hardly the most attractive investment opportunity. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22095559 I hope they manage to get sorted, never good to see a club go to the wall.
Their support almost puts ours to shame. Sad but if that's the situation in black & white, goodbye bury.
hope they sort it out, we all need "provincial" teams to survive. Clubs like us use them to blood young players and we also buy from them..Quinny for example
Who are the real hard core fans ? Many claim to be,and whichever club they support, they may be genuine or,erm...not The fans that support clubs like Bury, simply can't be questioned on this. I don't think that even long term Hull city fans can compare to the likes of Bury,Torquay or Scunthorpe. Hull is a big city, and the possibility of us being a big club playing in the top division was always there, even if it didn't seem likely in our,"deep dark past". Bury fans know beyond, any doubt whatsoever, they will never play top flight football. They don't have the hope that we did. Supporters of clubs like that..........Hardcore
