Well it is the 11th hour for them. How do you hope it goes? Do you hope it goes in the PST's favour or couldn't you care less? Please tell us and lets hope this thread doesn't get banned as well. PS For the record I hope all goes well for them and that the trust get ownership of the club.
I fear for them can't see why the court would force porpin to sell at a price below what they want for it, surely he's in his right to ask what ever he wants for it as the owner of the stadium even if it's no where near worth what he wants
Hopefully it goes well for them, they go down on merit and have their ten point deduction next season so they actually get punished for it!
I don't think he own's the stadium though . Also the PST have had 3 seperate valuartions all of which value the ground at less than the £3 million the PST are offering and a LOT less than Chanrai says it's worth . Hope it goes OK for them , but have a feeling it will be delayed Again .
He thinks he has a charge over it due to moneys the club owe him , but as far as I am aware the the stadium itself is part of the " Club " and that is with the Administrators . Might be wrong though .
You're not wrong. He has a charge (or legally recognised interest) on the property that supposedly secures a return for him when the asset is sold. This gives him a limited say in the disposal of that asset. I wish the PST all the best, the horrible blue bastards.
If PST have control surely they will never ascend the leagues? I'm kind of fed up with this whole saga, either wind them up and put them to death or let them carry on with their s****y little club. In L2.
Yep, I hope they survive this. Watching their slide down the football leagues is great, but watching them go out of business would be cruel. You can't have a football rivalry with a club that doesn't exist, and I don't think Bournemouth will ever fit the bill! Strange how our two clubs fortunes always seem to oppose each other, hopefully they survive this and we get them in the FA Cup next year!
Let's hope PST get a decent deal and can start their club up again. As much as it might be fun deriving a little schaudenfreude, I can help thinking that there but for the grace of Liebherr go us, and furthermore, as others have pointed out, having Portsmouth as rivals adds a little spice to the pantomime.
Hmmm part of me couldn't care less but I'm rather liking a PST controlled solution that would be fettered by future investment and therefore they continue to ply their trade in the lower leagues.
i dont agree, we need a rivalry with someone who we play often, who can challenge us. portsmouth are not likely to do this for decades. may as well go out of business, the state they are in.
Yeah, but geography normally creates rivalries and there aren't any teams close to us who are any good! If they survive this they will slowly crawl back up the leagues, although the PL might be a push too far for them to achieve any time soon. Having said that, Swansea are a fairly similar size club, had a stadium similar to Fratton Park and went into admin...look at them now. It'll take a while, but they'll be back.
Looks like an out of court settlement was agreed . Best hope for them was PST , wonder if all those fiancial promises will materialise into Hard cash ? They need it to . Still good that Chanrai seems to be on his way out .
Saw a bbc article on this that said there was a plan B if an agreement couldn't be found that would safeguard the future of the club. Didn't expand on what that was though.
