I agree totally and I wanted O'driscol myself at one point. I'm just saying a change in manager can bring out the best in players and Forrest are a good example of that.

Make no mistake I think Davies is a cock <ok>

Marmite. Strong leadership, benefited many, screwed many. She had a clear ethos that everyone had to pull themselves together and try to be the best they could - that's why she loved USA.

But when you screw a complete community, tell them to move to find employment but they can't because no-one would ever buy their house and these were the places that actually still had "community", it's hard to stomach. But the unions had to be brought to bear. Scargill was just as bad. And Galloway and Livingstone.

No doubt she did some really good stuff for Britain. But she also did some really bad stuff.

As I say, marmite, but I don't think anyone can categorically say they believe she was 100% good or 100% bad - she was 50% of each.

The one lasting legacy of Thatcher is that we rarely get such extreme politicians anymore (Osborne and Galloway excepted). And it led to middle of the road politics where every view is taken into account, despite some things still screwing the little guy - but that is politics after all.

Manager? I don't have a fecking clue what GFH will do. I don't think they do either

I also believe GFH are clueless in footballing matters and Redfearn clearly does not want to be Manager. His public negativity towards the role will have a negative impact on the players.I think we need to appoint a manager ASAP

Agree. Redfearn wants to stay away from the politics. He's happy coaching the youngsters

Elmo, read your post again & think 'Hitler' whilst reading it. Most of your points apply to him too, if you take the same forgiving view. You obviously never seen the suffering that I did.

Have to agree with you re. GFH, sadly. <yikes><wah>
