What was worse, was that the police relished doing it.

And this is the utterly disgraceful record of this so called 'great PM' we should all be sad to see the back of.

You didn't add the worst crime of a gleeful waste of the bravest men and women of this nation in the totally avoidable Falklands War. A war organised and prosecuted merely to get this witch re-elected, when she knew her opinion rating was the worst in poll history and electoral defeat was all but assured.

I'd happily piss on the evil witches grave.

Keep hearing this, but how did the lads and lasses of the forces feel about it?

Too early for me but I hated Thatcher with a venom.
    I'm glad she's dead.

An opinion is all very good.

But it is politicians who effect change not service personnel.

The general consensus of folks going down there was?

'Oh maggie is using us as a tool for her political stance'? i'm thinking not.

Right, ok. I still don't see how the ethics of the conflict is a concern for the service people. If they were that bothered, maybe that wasn't the life for them and at least stick by their convictions.

Think things have been lost in translation here mate..

I've never met one person who was against going there, in fact quite the opposite...

Chance to stretch their legs etc.

She didn't force them to invade, but most certainly failed to act on the intelligence given to her in advance, which could have saved hundreds of lives if she had put some forces down there before the invasion..

I was part of preparation of our elderly surface to air missile defence force. The people of the Falklands appealed to Britain to rescue them.

Take a look at the make up the task force that went there. We were not aware that the Argies army was made up of young conscripts but we did know that their French planes or pilots were no match for ours. What we were not aware of was that they had a new attack missile in the super excocet developed by the French but not sold direct to Argentina but sold none the less.

We had forces down there. It didn't stop them invading.

Try thinking with a clear conscience instead of a sheep 'Thatcher is worse than Satan' mentality.

Did Thatcher tell the Argentinians to fight back losing hundreds of men so she could win a proganda war?

Utterly deluded. You give people of the North East a bad name
