    Hull fan in peace here.

I really admired Southampton's style of play last Season and thought that you were well deserved Promotion to the top flight. Out of the three Promoted, I really wanted the Saints to stay up.

I've been keeping a close eye on your side this Season and can say with confidence you've got a good future in the Premier League ahead of you. MP has got you playing a nice fluid style of football and it's been really pleasing on the eye.

Hopefully the Tigers will be joining you in the top flight next Season!

    Good luck!

    Well, thank you kind sir.

I can't say I'm looking forward to the prospect of getting to Hull next season. Do I recall us get beaten there? But good luck to you. If you do come up be sure to wear full body armour. It's a rough ride, but great!

No offense to the friendly Hull fan, but I'd personally rather see Watford come up as they're very close to me, they play nice football and have that crazy affiliation with Udinese which will be fun to watch. I'd also like to see Palace and Forest come up, but I can't have it all my way. It's looking increasingly likely we'll get Cardiff and Hull and one other.

I'd like Hull, Watford and Palace. But I can't see Cardiff messing up this time.

Steve Bruce has us playing attractive, attacking football in a 3-5-2 formation but I doubt we'll play 3 at the back in the Premier League <laugh>

Haha, yeah, if our last time in the EPL is anything to go by, we'll armoured vehicles nevermind armour!

He's been a revelation. He got his first Scotland cap whilst playing for us and has had some ironic, "One eye, he's only got one eye, he's only got one eye" chants his direction and he laughs with us about it. He scored two on his debut vs Birmingham and scored an overhead kick against the Club that turned him down (Forest). Quality goal on Sky vs Huddersfield too, he's fit into our system really well.
    Definitely Premier League quality.

Thought so we won 2-0 away and 2-1 at home. remember Barmby after the game on the radio saying we were the best team in the division and just too good for them. They were in or close to the play offs at the time weren't they?

You did the double over us last year. 2-1 at St.Mary's and 2-0 at the KC.

I'm actually looking forward to coming down to Southampton (maybe) next Season as I think away days that are far away are better than the short 2/3 hour treks. You have the more loyal and atmospheric fans make the long journey's you see and it's more enjoyable.

Yeah, we were battling to sneak into the top 6 and Barmby along with all our fans and players agreed that you were the best side we'd played all Season.

Good lad. Remember the days of Hull v Lincoln warfare at Sincil Bank and at your old place. Dark dark days. I'm at that nearly 40 age where nostalgic thoughts control my mind a lot bot don't feel nostalgic about the high street being closed for urban warfare :) Better these days we can just enjoy football together and do our verbal jousting online before we leave the house :)

The days of Boothferry Park. Nostalgic thoughts are always a welcome topic IMO, the old hooliganism era was an awful time to be a football fan. As you say, online Forums have increased respect between fans now and we're all basically friends on the day regardless of result.

Hence the reason we acted so prominently against the West Yorkshire Police when they restricted our freedom of movement to the Huddersfield away match. They basically criminalised us.

Last Season, Southampton fans came and had a night out with us in Hull after the KC match and we had a laugh saying that Rickie Lambert was going to be loaned to us to help us up there next Season! <laugh>

Lol. It's wierd I was never a fighter, always the **** look behind us RUN. Bit like Doctor Who, nearly always got battered though and was strangely exciting. Ouch

I'm sure you have lots of other teams supporters coming on your board to compliment your style of play. Oh no, hang on....

Admittedly, I found 'getting chases' from opposition fans as a teen was the most fun I'd ever had until one time I got caught by some York fans... Then it wasn't funny at all <laugh>

Their fans feel secluded and isolated because nobody wants to talk to them. They play vile, awful 'route one' style football and along with Stoke, they fall into the arsehole fans category. <cheers>
