Am I wrong or has Pards brought wor Adam on three times in the league as a sub, and all three times the team has managed to score a winning goal? He must be wearing his lucky boxers me thinks =)

We need him be given more opportunity. I would like to see him getting on before Shola sometimes and given a chance to play up top alongside/off Cisse.

Very funny, he is a bit on the short side but has a good game in him, unfortunately today wasn't one of his best. But hey, three points so who's worried.

    I've noticed Adam Campbell...

But then I interact with hobbits on a quest to quest basis.

I'm concerned about our lack of height to be fair.
If you stand Anita on Marv and pop Campbell on top....they may reach AC's ponytail.

I wonder if it's his height that causes our players to miss him out. He runs into some good positions yet doesn't get the ball. Think he'll become a good little 'un.

He's not 5ft 7. He's no bigger than Anita, maybe a bit shorter. 5ft 5 I'd say. The same size as that Giovinco from Juve.

You have to cut Campbell plenty of slack. He is a forward but has mainly been used in wide areas. You can see how uncomfortable he is going back over. He seemed a bit reluctant on Sunday to overcommit for fear of being caught out of position. As noted, we do seem to score when he is on the pitch for some reason!

One thing I noticed he did early on was accelerate really quickly and dispossess a Fulham player very well. He dribbled between a few players, but didn't manage to make a final pass.

However, whenever he's come on, he's looked lively. Makes some decent passes and puts himself about.

Indeed he really has a go whenever he is on. No wonder he looks a bit fearful when players are running off him, its not really his game. I honestly think we should give him some of the opportunities Shola is getting. I think sometimes, especially at home, Cisse is crying out to have that little "beardsley type" player sitting in behind him.

Shola hasn't been getting much more than Campbell. And for all he can infuriate, there's no denying that a bit of physical presence can be useful and that Shola is currently the only attacking player who can provide it.

Shola is getting a fair bit more game time to be honest if you look over the last month. Probably about 10mins more per match I'm guessing?? He is where we are turning first most of the time. I accept his role when we are ahead in terms of holding up the play, but when we are chasing gmes he never has much impact. I'd prefer we went for the more intelligent pacy deep option first sometimes.

Pards is playing it safe with experience. Campbell seems to effect the game more for whatever reason. Certainly I think Cisse comes alive when he is on the pitch.

One thing Pardew's good at is blooding through youth, as seen at Southampton. I have faith that Campbell will get bigger and bigger roles late on. A cameo in the derby would be nice for him
