How do you pronounce Poche? Posh, Poach, Pochee, Pocka, or what?

Poche is what the Espanyol fans called him. Potch-ay.

It definitely Pott not Poch. Garth Crooks says that. (on Saturday whilst praising him)

That's something I've seen a lot recently. Two pronounciations:

    1. Potch-ettino
    2. Pock-ettino

Pochettino is an Italian name which presumably has been used in Argentina for quite a few generations. If Mauricio was a first-generation Italian he would probably use the Italian pronunciation "Pockettino", but as it has been modified by Spanish speakers over the years it has become "Potchettino".

Like Chilco says, I'd imagine technically it should be Pock but in the Spanish speaking world it's Potch, and since Mauricio himself is Argentinian out of respect for him I will always say Potch.

No Nigel didn't react at all, can't blame him really, he also scurried down the tunnel pretty sharpish at the end.
MP has yet to gesture any acknowledgement to our away following at the end of games? (wasn't at Norwich), though he did thank us in his interview Saturday.

I think the culture and attitude/relationships with managers and fans differs in Spain, from England.

Probably managers in other countries don't walk over to fans because they might get hit by bottles or any other object that is thrown on all through the game. lol
