Excellent player, shown his class. Sadly, as many have already said, won't be a QPR player for much longer.
Only player I wish we could keep. Not really bothered about anyone else even Tarrabt who has had a poor two seasons in the premier league. Hope he does not go to Arsenal as I hate him back at Loftus Road scoring against us for them. Last big player they bought from us was Seamen and look how many good years they got out of him at our expense.
Rumour is that you have already bid 18m for him and Samba in the event of our relegation. Remy at least has a release clause. On the evidence of the last couple of games you may change your mind on Samba....
Because, based on what I have seen, he is better than Giroud, Podolski, Walcott and Gervinhio. He really is very good; I think it's more that I hope he will go to Arsenal, not that I know/think he will. He would fit in well and tuck them away.
Speaking to my steward mate yesterday he reckons Samba is struggling with the pace still. He covers security in the week at different locations for QPR ( Chelsea Fan)and reckons Remy in training never misses To be able to do what he can with just a few chances shows exactly how good he is as a striker The script is written for his goals to save us and then I can tell you they will both stay Fantastic player and will be wanted by a lot of teams ... World class and now he has proved it Very proud he is QPR and sorry he is our player and we should enjoy his talent for the remaining six games Posters on here should be filled still wit hope as we know what he can do Do we now fear anyone ?
because Remy is exactly the player Arsenal (or Spurs) need. I hope he goes to Spurs, he would be brilliant with Bale and Lennon...and just perhaps we could swap him for Townsend (no chance though Townsend wouldn't want to play a season in the Chumps). Just wondering if we could loan out Remy for a season ...to Arsenal say, with a return to sender if promoted/pay up if not clause...would give us a year
Fair comments, mate ............ You make some good points and one can see you are still positive which is good to see. In regards to fearing anyone, I think we are all passed that stage and we just need to continue to score goals .................... if we can do that, we must be a chance.
Our problems have volte faced, in previous games before Remy we couldn't score but our defence was very solid indeed. Now despite relatively few chances our conversion ratio has risen, however sadly we are leaking badly. Won't work like that.
Remy is Wenger's type of player. Bags of pace and a powerful finisher. He sidefooted his shot yesterday and still the Wigan keeper didn't move.
Could be the Nelson factor, he's is no longer with us ................. we obviously missed him more than we realised.
Wigan? Fulham? Aston Villa? The silver lining regarding Remy is that he could easily end up being the subject of a bidding war that will more than recoup the outlay and maybe give us some funds for good Championship players. Those who think he might stay need to catch the next boat off fantasy island.
Because he is quite clearly a Top 4 striker and even more clearly above the crap you currently have in Giroud, Gervinho, Podolski. You'll also probably get him because Weger will be able to get him on the cheap.
And if we stay up? ... does that not change things?. Galvanised team escapes relegation twice ... if (when we do it) I won't hesitate to state again that we will finish very high next season. Sorry lads i am not quitting yet As for the statement Wigan, Fulham, Villa sorry but we shown a lot of fear against these teams? Results have been awful of course but no fear shown IMO ... I detected a bit against Liverpool/United but no one else. There is also something about Remy/Mbia and QPR as in France he has been directly quoted as saying he found QPR a better project ... He had the chance he said to join other Premiership teams on more money ... The Newcastle thing again he just felt QPR was really worth the switch. I think a few should step back and consider the overall points here. If we go down then of course with World cup looming he wants to play for France on the biggest stage ... we stay up and I think he will stay at QPR. he loves it here and already loves the club ... sometimes you need to understand teh inside of a Frenchman ... there are principles involved in everything ... Money doesn't drive everyone
The more I think about this, the more I think it would be a great idea...could work out well for both parties (wages paid, no transfer fee etc) But sadly it does for the majority of football players DT.
