I think now we have reached the time to cash in on Taarabt, he will not come down to the championship and play with the same passion and motivation as he did to get us promoted, and maybe one of his so called 'big' clubs that are interested in him will offer a decent fee. For me he will not improve into the premier league star that we all hoped and expected he would.
He's either going to go...or go back into the Championship where he'll be able to dictate games week in week out like he did in our Championship winning year. He has been better of late, but I would be surprised if a really top team came after him, so he'd only be moving up to a mediocre top flight team. A bit of me would love to see him pulling out the tricks in the Championship again if we go down (I refuse to say 'when' until mathematically impossible).
I think a Premier league team outside of the top 5-6 will take a chance on him if he stays in England. He has had 2 years to prove himself at this level with us and has been a major disappointment. I had such high hopes for him. I would like to see him stay with us in the Championship but I would be very surprised.
Do not even mention that ... why Taarabt why not sell the ****ing lot? I owe it to the QPR fan base to comment on any of these silly ideas At times we as a fanbase really do sin ... Anyone who was at the Match yesterday who stood up if they loved rangers or anyone who feels the tingle in their soul when that happened anywhere in the world ... be proud Anyone who doesn't and has other views **** off and support another team we don't need your sort associated with the club ... We are football supporters of Queens Park Rangers do you understand what that is and how lucky you are to be an R To anyone in-between search your soul One game and he is rubbished ... the lad is QPR FFS worth my £30 such to see his cross live yesterday ... we keep everyone we can
DT it was a simple question and merely asked for others opinion - what it didn't require was more of your laughable attempt at articulating a sensible response. You really are a tiresome twat most of the time In answer to the first question - if we get a decent offer then yes
This thread wouldnt have been posted if he hadn't of ducked yesterday. Im sorry Q.P.R I know you're normally a sensible guy but I think this is bollocks. Against Fulham he had an awful first half before single handedly getting us back into the match with a goal and winning the penalty. Yesterday he once again changed the game for us and his outside of the foot cross to Remy oozed class. Of the squad we have now he is without doubt one of our best players and dont forget is still our top goalscorer along with Remy. If we go down the chances are we wont keep him but if we have the chance to keep him it'd be moronic to sell him especially considering the dwarfed wages he'll be on compared to the likes of Park etc
Mostly agree with this. I wouldn't say major disappointment unless your expectation was through the roof. He has at times been our only shining light in the prem, and I would also gladly see him with us in the Championship.
I think it was a decent reponse to be fair. It would be a pretty boring thread if every answer was yes or no wouldn't it?
Apologies Canada but if you could feel the emotion at the ground at one point you may get the point and how hard it is for me to read a poster start to dismantle the club. I can guarantee you that my responses are sensible in my head and fuelled with just simple passion ... that doesn't always come over in text ... laugh away its your freedom. I will never tire of watching Tarrabt through the good and bad times at QPR ... he has been magnificent for our club and a flippant remark like any of these like yes sell him makes me boil ... Expect a lot more of this from me all the time I stand with people who love the rangers
Blimey, it's ridiculous blaming Taarabt for the draw yesterday, really it is. Why not blame Cesar for being poorly positioned? Why not blame Remy for only hitting the post in the first half? Why not blame Townsend for his poor free kicks in the first half? Why not blame Zamora for the stupid red card? Why not blame Mbia for the oh-so-naïve-and-daft challenge? Why not blame the referee for tolerating a lot of play-acting? Why not blame Mbia (again) for his play-acting that almost certainly contributed most to the additional 4 minutes? Why not blame Redknapp for playing Zamora instead of (say) Bothroyd or Taarabt from the start? Why not blame all of the above and more? I suspect Taarabt will move on in the close season, but would be surprised if its to a Premier League side. If it is, then its more likely to be a lesser side (no offence meant) like West Bromwich Albion, than to a Top Six contender, but I'd put money on him going to France.
Taraabt has given me some of my favourite Loftus RD moments and has been more than worth the entrance fee on many occasions. Part of me would love to keep him & part of me would love to see him really florish in Italy/Spain!
Good call re France IMO I still firmly believe he will become a massive player ... simple cultural point on how we have grown here in the UK ... Too quick to knock stuff ... we have become consumers with a hunger for everything
I'm not blaming anyone but how you can compare Adel ducking out the way of the ball in THE WALL whose job is to get in the way of the ball to say Remy hitting the post is err madness. For me the season was over at Villa and all I wanted us to do was go out with your head held high, so no blame game here just an appreciation of 10 men who worked their socks off to almost come away with 3 points.
One game and he is rubbished ... the lad is QPR FFS worth my £30 such to see his cross live yesterday ... we keep everyone we can _______________________________ Was that the ball that he over hit & it drifted 35 yds, going out for a goal kick while the whole crowd groaned. £30.......more like priceless!
