I must say I really enjoyed meeting up with all of you and enjoyed chatting with everyone it really is good to put a face to the names and I still can't believe when passing Col in Wood Lane I said to myself "I bet that is Col and his son" only to find it was about an hour or so later it was. Would love to meet again but we must have a word with the team to give us a better result totally gutted that in typical QPR style we let the opposition score in injury time, it's becoming far too normal!! Once again big thanks to Staines for the ticket.
I am still here in London passing time till I head to Gatwick. It was great to meet Flanman, whereeverIlaynyhearth (spelling), Flyer and Beth's daughter for the first time. I can't believe Flyer sits so close to me in the Lower Loft. Also great to see Beth, 999's, Brix, Rangercol & junior. Had a few pints last night to drown my sorrows. Boy that hurt. I promised Beth and Flyer at half time that despite playing with 10 men that we would win 1-0. I was nearly right. Gutted still. Absolutely gutted and very disappointed that we let the three points slip away. It can only get better from here but it is time we all accepted we are down I'm afraid. I was so annoyed with Cesar before the goal and also for the goal. I don't criticise our players regularly. Wigan had about 3 free kicks near the end and for each one, he was down on his hunkers trying to organise the wall. He wasn't even shouting at the players to get organised. I just knew that eventually one of the free kicks would go in. Anyway, here''s to next week for my next installment of being disappointed. Looking forward to meeting Tramore and Inky again. We have a 6th person joining our group. Sharon from Cavan is also on the same flights and wants to tag along with us for the day. I met her outside the Crown & Sceptre before the game yestereday. Should be a good day out. Hopefully not as painful, please Rangers..............
