Was meeting so many top lads and ladies in the pub before the game. Respect to each and everyone one of you and I hope it becomes a regular thing. A great way to bring a bit of harmony to the board and to get to know each other a bit better.

To everyone of you......Cheers, to better times !!

Hope so mate. Told by my mate we go to a pub called 'The Arkle'. Near to Liverpools ground and a short walk across Stanley park. If not will look out in the ground for a big skinhead with lots of tatts :)

Was good to meet you all, me and ranger col didn't even talk tactics. Fingals (excuse the spelling) sits about 8 seats away from me so its always nice to have someone else to say hello to.

Echoing Stainesy's sentiments in the OP. Great catching up with some of the usual suspects again - and meeting our Beth and Flanman for the first time.

Somehow managed to miss out on Flyer. Noticed a light blue away shirt with Fingy, Col and Beth but never twigged till after he'd flown away! Senior moment probably - never mind, next time hopefully.

I know Roller couldn't make it but where was Goldie today?

The board's community thing has really brought a whole new dimension to a match day. Shared misery this year maybe... but hopefully better days ahead???

Thank you all for being there....and for making Lizzy so welcome.....she did the whole course of being a Rangers fan today...the unjustness of it all (yeah I know the red card was right...but why us), the heroic 60- minutes, the wondergoal, the 10 minute euphoria and then the crushing realisation, the stunning silence, the empty hole.
It is the hope that kills us, time and time again.

But she said she is now a Ranger, she has a team...when asked who she supports she has her own answer...she is an R.
She wwants to come again, I have suggested she waits till next season....I would like her experience the joy of winning

    Thanks again boys

After the game I was thinking of young Lizzy. For her first game it was a real roller coaster of emotion and probably the best introduction to the absolute joy and the horrid pain that it is to support QPR.
Was lovely to meet her Beth (as it was you), you must be very proud.

Great post Beth and those who have gone before.

Sorry I couldn't be there as well, but as Stainsey and Brixton have already said, these meet ups are always enjoyable.

I'm glad that your daughter hasn't been put off by the realisation of what life as a Q.P.R. supporter is all about, today will put her in good stead for the years of heartache that will follow.

I'll hopefully see a number of you before the Stoke match in a couple of weeks time.

As ever, it's always a pleasure meeting up with our fellow Rs off of our board. It was great to see Flyer, Flanman and Weevil as well as the regulars.... Staines & Co, Brix, Beth and her lovely daughter, Col & son and of course Finglas. Cheers all.

Has anyone seen or heard from Goldhawk. I haven't seen him on here of late?

I am sure we will Dave, and I will truly look forward to it... But how did your footy hating boy take it.

Sorry I couldn't make it, but at least have a cunning plan for the next time I bring the wife and daughter down as well -
    1) lie to them about what time we need to leave, so we may get to leave early enough
    2) get the wife to drive back, so I sedate myself before, during and after the game. 1 beer is a deeply unsatisfactory amount.
