Just in from the game,my overall opinion is they worked hard and could have been two goals to the good at half time, our best chance fell to you know who (johnson), should have struck it across the keeper with his right but as forcast inside to his left and hit the defender, he wont get a better chance than that. The chelsea full back didnt have to do much against him all game . Im sorry to keep picking him out but they scored from a corner taken by him short then lost the ball when chelsea broke away , our boys had gone forward into the box for the corner which never arrived. Nearly time we had a corner again on the left he weent over to take it being left footed and then bardsley came from the right back possition to take it, with johnson that well known headerer of the ball went to the far post , stupid, stupid stupid. apart from him they showed some spirit, i said todayi i would get on the pitch and kick his arse i couldnt but somebody should. Again he shows no desire, but fear not all you followers hes happy on the training pitch ,i say bloody well leave him on the bloody training pitch. Fantastic support by us , if the team could compete like this for the whole game we might be ok.. colback on nearr the end , not my choice , with dg on the bench ???? connor done ok , would like to see him have another full game, all alone up front he done well, pity no balls came in from out wide in the air , as he did not get the chance to show his strength in the air.
what about sess's performance, what did you make of that? N'Daiye? I agree with most of what you've said btw apart from the Johnson bit
sess looked as though he was deflated from the time the second goal went in , he should have squared a ball early on but he looked good for a half , alfie had a sound game , im sorry mate i just cannot tolerate johnson, is it obvious
Sess was very good, Ndiaye was alright first half and majestic 2nd half, he won nearly every 50/50 and broke up Chelsea attacks time after time. AJ did alright for me, I think he must have had an affair with Stu's wife?
not very nice , you thought he done ok , i thought he was bad again , i have said before now ,ok you might not be on top of your game but thats no exscuse for lack of effort, i was wishing this could be his time but i think his bit part at city has fooled him and us to buy him , if he was that good why city sell him. the answer is in front of you , we need guts and grit .
Agree with everything there. N'Dayie showed some very nice touches. And how about Sess' touch around Mikel leading to corner from which we scored, THAT'S why I love Sess Johnson played well in the first half, shoulda scored at least once though.
i'm not having a pop mate, he should have scored but he got himself in the position to score, i thought he was one dimensional until PDC stuck a rocket up his arse (you may not have noticed in the ground) and he started using his right foot and slipped the defender a couple of time thereafter. I think PDC should have switched him and larrson for a bit to mix it up, maybe we'll see this next time. He's not daft PDC you could see that today, the players are listening to him. I saw a quote somewhere today (i might try and find it) where an un-named safc player said we have learnt more in the last 4 days then we have in the last 4 months. KTF with jonno, you dont get to pull the England shirt on for nothing (unless your Carlton Palmer)
those days are gone never mind pulling a shirt on i wish he would pull his socks up, he did not have an aaffair with my wife she ran off with myy best mate,,, i dont half miss him
i thought she was having an affair with a drug dealer , every time i answered the phone some body said is that dope still there
We know you don't rate Johnson but the best chance didn't fall to him , the best chance was in the first 2-3 mins when Sess only had to roll a square pass to Connor and he had the simplest of tap ins. More composer and greater awareness from Sess and it may have been different . You say they scored from Johnsons corner, but fail to mention that WE scored from a Johnson corner. I have to say I saw more football played in the first 45 mins from ourselves than the previous 8-10 games under MON, we now have genuine optimism instead of drifting towards the drop without a fight.
you are correct but i did say that sess should have squared it,...im just fed up aj full stop. seems to me he should be with gazza
When you watch AJ play he seems lazy, but this makes for interesting reading http://espnfc.com/team/squad/_/id/366/league/eng.1/sunderland?cc=5739# 4 gaols, 5 assists, 11 shots on target (31 total) Next player in the assists column is Cuellar with 2. The rest of the midfield need to start creating more. Nothing to do with AJ, but Sess has suffered 82 fouls, next highest is Rose at 46
how many tackles ,, how many headers, how many broken hearts, sorry a waste of space and money ,no one will alter my opinion as no one did about oneil
