The reaction I gave to the Cisse goal was the most emotional reaction to a goal I've given in ages. Just such an important goal!!!!!!!!!!!!

From worrying about relegation to thinking maybe the top 10????

But lets not get carried away lads, still some time left. One more win mother ****ers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IMO - We should be managing our resources carefully for Sunderland. Play a decent side vs Benfica, and try and catch them on the break like we did at their place. They are vulnerable at the back.

    But lets not risk anyone.

Sunderland game is the most important. They will come to our place needing the win, and we need to be ready. I'll be pissed off if we risk someone we don't need to vs Benfica and end up weak to play Sunderland.

    Ratings -

Krul - 7 - A great save to deny Berbatov from that set play we just couldn't ****ing defend. Saved us the game. Other than that, some decent claims and quick out of his box.

Simpson - 7.5 - Another good game. Say what you want, but the lad has been good when he's played this season. Good defending and helps us get up the pitch.

Mbiwa - 7- Some sloppy moments, but overall good and calm at the back.

Saylor - 7.5 - Good defending, and was a threat from set plays. Great knock downs.

Jonas - 8 - Great game. He was defensively solid. He got caught out once, but recovered very well. Really sturdy performance. Jonas' contribution, even in his worst season in a while, is critical.

Anita - 6 - Poor at fullback. He got caught out a few times. But decent in the middle of the park. Good running.

Sissoko - 7 - Good runs, but found it hard against a compact side vs Fulham. He's useless playing up top vs a deep side. He needs to be running from the back. He got us up the pitch a lot. We don't want him as an anchor, but we need him as a midfielder who runs up and down the pitch, so he's hard to mark.

Cabaye - 7.5 - Wasting of chances with **** shots, but great passing. He was one of the big differences today. Without him, Fulham would have kept us out. They are a good unit, and his passing ability was the main reason we ever got through them.

Marveaux - 7.5 - Fantastic runs and was a big threat to Fulham. Him linking up with Cisse seems to be a useful little weapon. He plays nice little passes. Also his deliveries from corners and freekicks are much better than Cabaye's.

Cisse - 7.5 - Wasted a couple of good chances, but he got efforts on goal and it took some good saves to keep him out. In our current style of play he's a 1 in 2 striker. Next season I see him getting 15-20 goals.

Gouff - 6 - Not is greatest game. Made some good runs in good areas, but couldn't quite provide.

MOTM - Jonas for me. Solid defensive display.

Overall - GET IN!!! Fulham looked very good, and we were persistent eventually unlocked them. We kept a clean sheet and did well.

Pretty much agree but I'd struggle to give Sissoko more than a 6. Gave away a lot of possession today. Probably just 7 for Cabaye too. Jonas was outstanding.

Sky Sports have Yoan Gouffran named as Man of the Match.

Fair shout or did they not bother watching the game?

Always stuck up for Simpson though, he's not a bad player at all but gets too much stick. Better defender than Santon, FACT, and not far off Debuchy from what I've seen.

Jonas seems to have bucked his ideas up and found some form too which is great news. Krul immense tho, kept us in it to win it...

Gouffran was ok but disappeared and was no MOTM. I think he'll improve with time.

Jonas was my MOTM today as well, decent enough at the back, but also some excellent running at Fulham in the second half to give the defence a rest and start some more attacks.

Jonas, Yanga-Mbwia and Saylor were all great today, with Jonas edging MOTM. While Sissoko did give a ball away a bit, he was always driving us forward

NOT going to win the Europa even if we overturn Benfica but still could go down, so this is a big NO from me...

....and Jonas was immense today. We had a decent game today and deserved the win. A bit of breathing space now and a couple more wins should see us safely in mid table.

If we knock Benfica out Ben Arfa, Tiote and Coloccini back very soon I really think we can win the Europa league we have beat Chelsea and Spurs at home this season and there priority is top 4.

Europe League should be priority we beat Benfica and knock them out everyone will be buzzing for the derby on sunday and the atmosphere will be electric.

If we didn't think we can win the europa league why didn't we go out in the early ****ing rounds would have stopped alot of injuries and tiredness.

get to 40 points season over but with Europa league semi final 2 games from a final in Amsterdam season still alive until end of the season COME ON WE CAN WIN THE EUROPA LEAGUE TOON TOON a great chance to win a european trophy.

Let's hope so, think it will be very difficult to get past Benfica.

I went for a 2-0 win against but being honest I think it is more wishful than anything else. It looks hugely unlikely but I think we have to play the strongest team we have available now. If we'd lost to Fulham I'd have been more cautious but you don't get many chances like this.

I agree we should fully go for Europa, we have breathing space now and can still get wins after playing in Europe as shown today.

I don't think they're all that great after watching the first leg. We can score goals against them. We need an early one though.
