    I see the curse of Xisco has struck again, with Deportivo La Corunna being relegated.

    I presume that this means that he will be on the way back to SJP, to "fight" for his place next season. <yikes>

    i hope not! although he never really got a run at it. but no better than what we have left and at 50k a week wages!

    Looks like they won't be signing him then......I remember a few years ago when Deportivo where one of the top teams in La Liga.

    Really cant be worse than Shola, I'm surprised we didnt play him this year once or twice before January.

    We had a pay as you play deal on him apparently, or something along the lines of if he played we had to pay him more. But surely he couldn't have done worse than Shola. Looked decent against Villa.

    We've heard that for about 3 years now.

    Why buy a player if you have no intention of playing him due to a contractual obligation to pay £x if you do play him a set amount of times.

    It just makes no sense to me.
