Matt has just been registered by Guernsey FC as a player due to their fixture build up. That's the funniest thing today since the ridiculous misery of the match thread!

I saw that and wasn't sure if it was for real! He could probably still do a job for us, yet alone Guernsey. ;)

Who knows, if he does well, we could sign him up and he could be our new star player.

If he starts running, he could sink Guernsey.

I see the write up on the Beeb website gets his details wrong again. The other week they suggested he was a striker, and therefore he was not in the list of Midfielders Scoring in the Premier League, and now this week they've taken his overall appearances of 541 and coupled it with his league goals of 162. It's actually 209 [some lists say 210].

You never get a positive error. It's almost as if they'll do anything to diminish the memory of his skills. Sorry, but it annoys.

According to him he's pounding the streets of Southampton. I thought I felt the house move the other day.

There would be a hell of an argument between Le Tiss and Rickie on who would take the penalties. :)

A picture fell off my wall a couple of days ago and, carefully avoiding the tat, broke a mahogany mirror, an antique Worcester figure, and a marble horse's head. The tremors must have reached the Isle of Wight....expect a bill, Matty.

Hardly, Rickie laughs in the face of imperfection.

In another 17 perfectly executed penalties he can. :)
