Must be ****ting themselves, their remaining fixtures are horrific, no more than 4 points for them I reckon, which means if I'm right we need another 7, will we get them? We definitely we wouldn't have under O'Neill imo but now I'm a bit more optimistic
Lets get more points than Stoke before we relegate them. I'd swap their points total for ours at the moment , and our run in isn't exactly easy. But on the plus side we have PDC and they have Pulis.
Soton should be safe before they come here, Everton may be going for 4th spot, Stoke at home, Villa, Mags away are huge games now, I reckon Connor whickham will shine if given the chance, I would say QPR and Reading are just about down so any 1 from Norwich, Stoke, Sunderland, Mags, Villa, Wigan and 38 points.
The bookies dont share our optimism. Most have Reading and QPR at 1/100 and 1/12 to go down. Third favourite is us at 7/4 The rest are roughly Wigan 2/1 Villa 3/1 Stoke 8/1 But there was a 66/1 winner in the big race today , so the bookies don't always get it right.
Think Villa should have better odds to avoid than Stoke. Basically we have to beat Villa and Stoke. The Stoke game being the decider on who joins Reading and QPR.
I'm not saying stoke are down, but their fixtures are scary, yes I'd rather have their position than ours, they have 3 more points, but it's giving me belief that 7 points should be enough, IF we can beat stoke and southampton, maybe we can stay up, we are capable of getting a point at the mags, at home to Everton, away at villa, surely there is hope
For what it's worth fella's I get along with Mackems and I ain't going to start a war now so.. it's all if's,but's and maybe's tbh. I think we're all bricking it if we're honest. Let's face it you may get a pt at Chelsea who knows? If not, we're still 3pts ahead with almost same goal diff. You have to play Newcastle before us, something gives there so it's a lottery in my opinion. Who dares wins as they say.
Keep going with the permutations and you will disappear into your own fundamental orifice. More spice in the bottom 7 than the top 4. QPR hold the key as they play most teams just above them at vital times. Harry's got them believing and they were not outclassed by Fulham last week. One game at a time for all of us from now on.
