Its a bit to deep and complex for most on here bony....all they see with their rose tinted glasses is what we did at the beginning of the season and not the real issue of what is happening here and now.....why do you think fans are making comments about the swans and their poor form these past few months......for the fun of it i suppose or do they have a valid point.....

In all seriousness, though, does it have to be Rodgers is great so Laudrup isn't? Does it have to be Laudrup is great so Rodgers isn't? Surely, what we should say is that we've just had two candidates for the best managers ot ever manage Swansea. As for sacking Laudrup, well, it's obviously a WUM (at least I hope it is) but iffy results (no more so than last year) results over 10 games don't negate the season. We all cry out at good managers getting sacked for no or little reason, but, seriously, how would the country react to that? We'd be a laughing stock. Well done to Liverpool getting above us at last, having spent all that money and surviving on the gates they get. Rodgers is doing better than I thought he would - so well done. In a way it helps us, good managers and players can see the benefit of coming to work with us. Laudrup has achieved more, but with a team that survived the previous year. They both have their strengths - Rodgers was able to change games at times, but Laudrup seems a little more incisive. Still, my problem with Rodgers is that, without a second thought, he would asset strip us and, like Dai, say "Dog eat dog". Well sure, if you want to have that attitude, then you can only expect one response. Should it be gratitude? Sorry, it's going to be distrust and aggression.

Ten years ago we nearly went out of the league and were at rock bottom. Now we sit 9th in the Premier League and have won the first major honour in our history and have qualified for European football next season. The first Welsh team to play in the Premier League and the first Welsh team to qualify for Europe without winning the Welsh cup. There's about 80 odd league teams that would happily swap places with us right now. The neighbours at Legoland are emotional wrecks now because of the way our club has outshine them and has been the leading light in Welsh football. Brendan Rodgers won ZERO major honours as manager of Swansea City. He has moved on to Liverpool FC and had won ZERO with them too. This is a club that has a hell of a lot more money than us and aspire to be champions. This is a club that is 29 points behind Manchester United, that's TWENTY NINE points. Michael Laudrup has been here one season and had won ONE major honour so far. During the cup winning campaign we beat the champions of Europe over two legs and stopped them scoring a goal. We also beat Brendan's beloved Liverpool at Anfield on the way to the Wembley win too. Just to remind you this is Michael Laudrup I'm talking about footballing legend and one of the best players to ever step foot on a football field. To be criticising him in the way you have been is an insult to him, the football club and all the posters on this board. Debate is fine and I can tolerate all things related to Swansea City FC even when I don't agree and I will not resort to name calling or any personal insults. Norway, well said mate. I have been reading the post and can feel my stomach turning over and getting more and more annoyed at the clowns posts. I had to wait and walk away from the laptop before i posted as if i had straightaway i would have been banned. I believe that all but one on here felt exactly the same. Why as genuine swansea fans do we have to put up with this guys BS. Something needs to be done about him. It is totally unacceptable wumming.
Trundle- I have been strongly against Dai being removed in the past ,when i was acting as temporary MOD on here i stood up for the guy many times , but i think what is happening now is the classic case of giving somebody an Inch and them taking a mile !! There is a line and that has been crossed, what has been sid by him cannot be formed on any kind of logic, even the most open minded Swans fans find these comments bad taste and dis respectful to the team and manager. The Swans mean alot to all of us, i will very often have a go at team and tactics myself, though i like to think its more about seeing where we can improve and taking an objective approach is something we all do when mulling over a defeat or even draw or victory, thats all part of the wonderfull world of football ! I and many others will be constructive about the team we love but i have yet to find any constructiveness in Daiswans comments!! its as if he hs gone out of his way to be annoying and wum people up, how can somebody beleive Laudrup needs to be sacked ??
