We will look for home back to back wins for the first time this season when we take on Leeds United who have recently sacked manager Neil Warnock. Tuesday night was a very hard earned point for us as we drew 0-0 away to Brighton. Leeds played the night before us and were at home to Derby County and despite taking the lead they went down 2-1. When we went to Elland Road earlier in the season we drew 1-1 David Norris put Leeds ahead but a first Addicks goal for Dorian Dervite saw us take a share of the spoils.

Leeds United haven't won in 6 games and have lost their last 3 in a row whilst we have looked like finding a bit of form in recent weeks and have lost won of our last 5 and that was the south london derby against Millwall. Neil Warnock has been recently sacked so will this see Leeds up their game? It's hard to tell but they definitely have the players to course us problems. Steve Morrison always seems to score when he plays against us and he is my potential match winner for them. I am predicting a close game and either a score draw or a 1-0 either way is what I predict will happen.

Win tomorrow and I will relax in the knowledge that we should finish reasonably well and stay up. Lose and I will feel the exact opposite. Draw and I'll defer my opinion till after Cardiff.

I cannot see Wilson replacing Pritchard. For me Wilson is the better player, especially wide right, but Pritchard is on a roll and is CP's little favourite. Otherwise I agree with Belvedere's selection but would like to see Haynes wide-right and Pritchard inside. 4-5-1 suits us better, so long as we don't defend too deep.

Strange that we have gone from a shortage of CMs to an over-abundance, with Hughes and Hollands fit, Gower borrowed, and Harriott releasing Jackson from his left-flank chores. Maybe the competition will motivate Stephens to buckle down and start realising his potential.

If we can keep up the momentum today, it inches us closer to safety. But......... saturday at home :-( Does'nt invite optimism. I'll be following this on the PC as usual, and being very very nervous.

We are doing a lot better than in most home games but there is a lack of creativity in the opposing half. Looks as though we are relying on out-harrying and out-blustering Leeds.

I am not Stephens' biggest fan but he might give a better balance if played in forward areas.

Sounds as if we are doing our old trick of sitting back. How long before CP brings Taylor on as a third CB?

The African Messi poised to come on for Fuller. CP wants to give Wiggins some help defending.

It's your fault. We were winning until you came home.

... hold on, I take that back!

The Doctor won it with his shrewd substitutions:emoticon-0137-clapp Let's be honest who else would have made them? And who would have brought Hughesy into the team a week ago?

We'd (the Leeds fans would be interested to know your thoughts on the match, and exactly how poor we were.

    Many thanks

I actually think almost the opposite.

Taking off Fuller and going 451 whilst Leeds were starting to take control may have seemed wise but a) he bought Kerkar on (no idea what positon he was in because Harriott sort of stayed left-centre - was we doubling up?) and b) the '1' was Yann who, at the time and probably rightly, was helping out in defence.

At the time of the Leeds goal we was playing a 4-6 formation.

Obviously I was proved wrong by ht eObika change but at the time I was mystified at bringing Harriott off.

Harriott will be the best new 'signing' for next season.

I think safety is fairly sure now, no reason to think we'll lose all five remaining games, which is what it would take to be relegated imo. Can't say the same for Leeds.

Can't believe how close that was to a draw. Thought we bossed the match up until a couple of minutes after the first goal. By that stage, it could have easily been two or three. Then came the inevitable sitting back, combined with some aimless gambley passes when we did have the chance to break forward, meaning that Leeds were given more and more chances to get back in it. To be honest, I thought they were very very poor and didn't think they would get back in, but some excellent basketball in the box gave Varney the chance.

I think we were all calling for Kerkar and Obika to come on :) Obika looked lively when he got his chance, and took his goal well.

I understand the criticism levelled at Pritchard, but thought he had a very good game today. He is excellent without the ball, and I thought he was good with it too today. Jackson and Hughes worked well in midfield again, and Kermorgant tireless. Solly performed as he usually does. I also thought Dervite had a good game.

For the Leeds fan on here, I'll put it in the same words a Leeds fan on the train said. A team with Andy Hughes in central midfield bossed the game against you. I thought we should've won by two goals today, and I worry about your chances of survival. That said, Blackburn look very much in freefall, along with Bristol City, so one of Posh/Hudds/Barnsley/Wolves will allow you to stay in the division.

Finally made my mind up on the Leeds fans. I thought they were excellent. It's a bit strange how they called themselves "scum" and "vile", but the song ending "Tresor Kandol is a skillful ****" was great, and they had to stop themselves from singing about playing Yeovil next season because Yeovil could still win promotion. Didn't see their tribute to their fans killed in Turkey, but I feel Charlton should/could have done something. Fair play to them for applauding the youth teams.

I could've lamped the bloke behind me. Complete and utter muppet. And his sniggering mate ('Richard Hammond', I'll call him).

When I came down for these past three games, I thought it was going to be 0 points from 9. Turned out it's been 7 from 9 and the team has a good shape about it. Something to build on for next season. Should Powell try bringing in some younger players now?
