Sunderland have not got 1 reason to think they are better than us!!

why are men obsessed over who/what is bigger???

who gives a ****, yes they finished above us they may have won more games at home then us, they lost 7 we lost 5, away from home we both won 5 we lost 9 they lost 8 , we scored more goals...... who cares.

 

Oh come on man we're a far bigger team than Sunderland. The argument is ridiculous. After all the years we spent in Europe and the Champions League, and as top contenders for the league for numerous years, we've built up a massive following which not only stretches across the UK, but also across Europe and the rest of the world.

Whilst a lot of people across the globe would recognise Newcastle United, I'd highly suspect that very few would recognise Sunderland. They've been sitting in the Championship an awful lot since the EPL began and haven't done anything of note whatsoever. We have a bigger stadium, bigger club, bigger following, bigger reputation, bigger attendances and a better history. How any mackem can claim that's wrong is beyond me.

As for this season, it came down to pure luck. The table doesn't reflect the quality of performances whatsoever. We've been VERY unlucky in some cases and it's cost us points. For example, Gyan running into the ball and putting it into the net during injury time cost us two points, and that other injury time equaliser against Spurs cost us another two. It's those tiny momentary lapses of effort which have cost us at least a few positions.

Just look at Sunderland vs Bolton. A Bolton own goal with only a few seconds of the match left gifted you guys two points, one of which was enough to go above us. What about Sunderland vs Villa? Another win due to an own goal by Dunne. Sunderland Vs Man City, 2 points due to them giving away a penalty in the 4th minute of injury time. Plus, there's a draw with Birmingham due to a penalty and own goal. That's SEVEN points which had **** all to do with you guys and everything to do with the other team cocking their own match up. Take those away, and Sunderland would have been staring down the barrel of possible relegation yesterday.

I wish so much we had things like that happen in our season, but they didn't. Due to team cock-ups and pens, we've been gifted a couple of points at the most. So no mackem can say that the table accurately reflects the quality and performances this season. It's a load of bull as there were a hell of a lot of lucky breaks.

Using "<" means that the second option is better than the first, so you're saying that Bardsley is better than Enrique and Bramble is better than Colo.
