It may not be the result we wanted but I for one am proud of the way we played.
We gave them a great game and deserved at least the draw.
Credit to AP for setting up the team so offensively.

    Well played lads.

2-0 at home and we go through.

Looking forward to next Thursday big time.

it might suit us that we need to attack now and with the fans behind us making it a great atmosphere and early goal and who knows what may happen. just disappointed we gifted the goals but a great effort considering some key players are missing.

Defensive errors for the goals and not a lot went our way all night. But we are still in it.

Give the second string (if we have one) a run out next week, time to concentrate 100% on the league while we still can!

I'm not angry or disappointed because we have scraped through in the Europa so far having never viewed it as significant priority.

I still see as it as a pretty good achievement to have made the quarters with this team...

Looking forward to the day when we can attack ALL cup competitions without compromising the league, other more mediocre squads can!

They did us proud. Silly defensive errors but unlucky going forward. Its a big ask from here, but who knows. I'm pleased we've taken the competition seriously. Would have been an insult to our European heritage if we hadn't.

Can't believe some people think were as good as dusted in Europe. Remember 4-2 AZ Alkmaar lads? Who would've thought we'd throw that away.

Score one and these ****ing pansies will collapse like a house of cards. A sellout, with the loudest ****ing roar these lot will ever hear. That away goal is vital - and many of us would've taken this result at the beginning of the night.

We won't go down, remember 17th place means we're still in the Premierleague. We just have to better/equal the form of one of Villa/Scum/Wigan.

    Never lose faith. HTL.

No way is this over. Was very impressed tonight they didn't look like scoring until we gifted them that goal. Would have loved for Ben arfa to be for for the 2nd leg

I was impressed. Really worried going into this one. Getting an away goal was great. Loved seeing all our fans going mental when we scored. Not over yet like not at all
