I left at the final whistle.

I've turned up to every home game this season, they didn't turn up yesterday, so I didn't feel like I should stay. I think they let us down, wasn't about to watch them stroll about for 10 minutes, I'd already been watching that for 90 minutes.

 

Fair play to the ones who stayed, but can't really blame the ones who went. It was a shocking 2nd half and the players would've known that...They'd have been expecting people to leave/to boo at the final whistle etc.

That being said, great season and exciting times to look forward to!

 

Although alot of fans did leave, there was alot of people who walked pitchside so don't let the empty seats fool you.. (thumbs up.... still haven't got the hang of this)

 

Beacuse of course we should have been finishing in the top 4, how stupid of me. Of course it was dissapointing, but this team has over acheived most sensible fans expectations for this season, and we all said that we'd be happy with 17th based with what we had at the start of the season - if you'd told us then that we'd lose Carol at Xmas and not replace her, we'dve all been resigned to relegation.

It's the same week that the Arsenal fan's reaction to the 4-4 was posted a couple of times on here, we all know what goes round comes round in football, lucky it happened in a meaningless dead rubber of a game.

We'll never kno, of course, but a full house saying a proper thankyou to a team that put in a shift this season and did the principal job they were asked to, i.e. keep us up,
might just have convinced one or two who might be thinking of moving on to stay.

To all those wgo ****ed of 'because you're unhappy that 9th spot got away' - piss off and give your season ticket next year to someone who loves the club and undertands fottball. You're the reason we get called deluded!

I don't understand all of these 'exceeded expectations' stuff people go on about like it's some kind of excuse.

Before the season, we had expectations yes. However, as soon as we started playing games again, it was obvious that we had some quality and we weren't just going to struggle in every game. As soon as that's obvious, expectations change.

Yeah we got some good results, but we floundered in a lot of the easier games too, and that was entirely our own doing. We weren't outclassed in quality at all. We just didn't show up some days and it cost us at least a few positions on the table. There was not 100% effort from start to finish.

Whether the team 'exceeded expectations' or not, it's still a negative thing which should be addressed.

To be honest though, I'm quite worried about about the number of draws we've had. We draw a lot but there's something missing which prevents us from getting enough wins, and I don't think it's a lack of quality. I hope that's ironed out for next season.

Not sure if it's been mentioned (and there's no way I'm reading every comment) but Eldon Square Car Park was shutting at 6:00. Was definitely gonna stay (even if it had ended as it did) but didn't/couldn't in the end.

 

I have to admit. I pissed off. That's because i was. The pathetic performance in the 2nd half was beyond belief. Why was Ameiobi on the pitch. Why did the substitution not include him going off. Why do we take a midfielder off and put on an attacker when we are under the cosh. I was so sick we let the scum take over it was unreal. We now have to take this **** from the crap for another year. I just took my drunken self to the the strawb and tried to forget about it. Makem scum. It would not be so bad if they were proper humans and could be decent.
