Spend June and July building a guinea pig friendly garden for my daughter, a wooden space rocket with pedals for my eldest son and a Diesel 10 suit for my youngest boy! I know it's clutching at straws; but what would you do if the Rs stay up?
Unreal Sku. My wife has being nagging me for the last month to power wash the house, surrounding paths and back yard. It's a huge job. I jokingly told her the other day that I would do it if we stayed up otherwise it would have to wait.
My wife is obviously a better nagger than yours. I gave in and did this job only 2 weekends ago. Painstaking work.
i would get a big picture of us celebrating & shut all those morans at work who keep on taking the piss week in week out & also my son in law who's a palarse fan well armchair one.
Blimey mate where do you live? Southfork Ranch. I will promise to take Mrs Nines on a safari. It's always been her dream holiday, but just doesn't appeal to me. I tried taking her to Longleat instead but the ungrateful moo started getting all stroppy. Women eh.
I think you have a chance. With Wigan and Stoke at home and Reading away this month, you could bridge the gap, but there is no margin for error. One team always seems to raise their game when it matters. Fail to beat Wigan though and it's curtains.
9s. Do the safari. Being that close to big game is incredible. Had the privilege of seeing a rhino up close as well as elephants, lions etc. Have to say, on this occasion, your Mrs is right. Do it! As to my own pledge, when we played Chelsea at home last season, I announced at work that I would run through the streets naked if we beat them and we did. Had to wiggle out of that one (the pledge that is, not my clothes!). So, if we stay up, I am going to run around naked - in my bathroom. Best for all concerned really.
When it is mathematically certain that we stay up, I promise to get absolutely plastered and then have one month (30 days) on the wagon. (I have never done this since I was 16!) I promise!
Sometimes it needs an outsider to see the wood for the trees. Not down and out quite yet though I agree that if we draw or lose to WIgan, that is probably it.
+1 I'm not sure I can put up my my missus for a full month without drink but I will give it my best shot !
