Clubs like PSG will get around it by paying the players into offshore accounts no doubt.
That is nuts as a tax level though.

Well I know a Nigerian Prince and he said that if I deposit a 1.000 pounds in his bank account I will make millions of pounds. The money is now very safe in his bank in Nigeria and I expect my first profit very soon!

Cayman Islands for the most offshore. I still think more money is "cleaned" in Switzerland than anywhere else.

Great news for us this with our scouting strength in terms of France.

Considering that in Russia and Turkey the top tax rate is about 5% (so I've heard, might be wrong), 75% is insane

Didn't Gerard Depardieu make a big hoo haa a couple of months ago, I'm sure he was granted Russian citizenship by President Putin after his protest on taxes in France imposed on the wealthy.
    75% though is massive!

I think 75% for footballers is fine to be honest. Should be the same in this country.

Actually lets not get all political about this, we'll leave that to Mussolini and his troops down the road in trampsville.

It's not famous but it is safe, all my money is in a tin box buried under a pile of rocks beside the old ash tree about 25 yards from the cow trough, this stands in the 3rd field along(due west) along from the old railway line which used to link Melton Mowbray to Harby Village.

I'm the only one that knows where it is so I'm perfectly happy, better than worrying about bloody banks.

No I don't think 75% tax for anyone is fine. Why should the Government take that much of anyone's money?

People say this about footballers, but most of them are earning this much because they are the best at what they do (with a few exceptions obviously- we've employed some of them in the past).

There is too much money in football, no doubt about it. But it is us ultimately putting the money in their pockets by paying for Sky sports and going to games, buying sportswear etc. I don't think footballers should be seen as immoral, or be blamed for what they earn. Given the chance, we'd all do it.

People choose to be nurses, soldiers, doctors etc. Just because their job is more important to society, doesn't mean footballers should targeted for super tax because they earn a fortune.

Footballers are very lucky, but they are not in the wrong IMO

I reckon Joey may be joining the exodus. They'll be chasing him out after his ladyboy remarks about Thiago Silva. Loose cannon is not the words to describe Joey. He's gone nuclear!! I had a little chuckle at the indignation of L'Equipe though. They couldn't wait to get their anti English stance out with the headline "Is this English humour?", just to chuck us all on the same boat. Welcome to "Joey humour" France!!!
